F-16s Pursue Unknown Craft Over Region

"It was this object, this light-blue object, traveling at a phenomenal rate of speed," Rogers said. "This Air Force jet was right behind it, chasing it, but the object was just leaving him in the dust. I told my neighbor, 'I think those jets are chasing a UFO.' "

Military officials confirm that two F-16 jets from Andrews Air Force Base were scrambled early yesterday after radar detected an unknown aircraft in area airspace. But they scoff at the idea that the jets were chasing a strange and speedy, blue unidentified flying object.

Wow. You know what, I had tapes proving who actually killed JFK, but those tapes are missing.

Making a claim then offering no independent proof, like the astronaughts name and mission, does not make for a credible allegation.

I've seen the flying black triangles and huge rectangular craft here in Australia we're 80 percent desert with no population so its a pretty good place to test these toys,don't know about ET but I do know nuclear weapons are 60 years old and about the nazi nurf balls...driving near Shoal Water bay our large military area I had three F111'S across my bonnet at breakneck speed,treetop level- shadows over the car,hell of an experience.I supplied the sandblasting room and gear like downdraft benches for Amberley airforce base maintenance which has F18's F111's I love going out there especially at night,theres much in what you say an ordinary civilian would probably think all hells broken loose just seeing an afterburner in the night sky.

Nope. No plane can do that. No UFOs have done that either, except on TV and in people's imagination.

Nope, again. But, I do know a state trooper who's cruiser was hit by ball lightening. It had a similar effect.

Now, I do know for a fact that every anecdotal story on this thread and in the UFO culture has been in movies, TV etc for decades. Have you noticed that after Close Encounters of the Third Kind was released suddenly all aliens had those bulbous eyes and head?

About 1987 or '89, my oldest son and I were sitting outside talking. He had came from Dallas and we didn't get to talk a lot so were sitting up late.

About 2:30 AM I thought it was a zig-zagging light but he said later it looked like it was tumbling. Whatever it was doing, there was a huge explosion of light.

We didn't have any idea what happened and we never read anything about it.

I would be particularly interested to know how many radars were painting the "anomaly", whether the F-16s were painting it, and how many times in recent history anyone's been scrambled for a radar anomaly (yes I'll admit that may be a little more likely now than before). But we may never know. Incidentally, my c.v. should make me a fairly credible and sophisticated witness, and because of two "sightings" of my own (the first one 40 years ago), you can classify me in the "believer" category.

It simply could have been a new type of aircraft on a super secret test mission.. we all know how long the Stealth was kept secret and they had the same "sightings" with that aircraft.

I sure the President is kept up to date on secret tests.. although he may not know the specifics of said plane.. wouldn't matter where theyd id it.. and they could of been testing andrews with the plane to see it's response time.. two tests in one.. shabang!
