[history]
"It was this object, this light-blue object, traveling at a phenomenal rate of speed," Rogers said. "This Air Force jet was right behind it, chasing it, but the object was just leaving him in the dust. I told my neighbor, 'I think those jets are chasing a UFO.' "
Military officials confirm that two F-16 jets from Andrews Air Force Base were scrambled early yesterday after radar detected an unknown aircraft in area airspace. But they scoff at the idea that the jets were chasing a strange and speedy, blue unidentified flying object.

Actually, I didn't see a dang thing...;-D
Except I did see the cattle photos from the investigation. The guys said there was no "dead smell" either...I've been a country girl long enough to find that really goofy.

That's what they said in all the secret UFO files that leaked out. Give me a freaking break, govt. You know dang well the witnesses aren't making this up.
As to what UFO's are, I won't make any claims, but the government must think we are pretty stupid to try to explain it all away as nonsense.

They won't say since well, that is classified....
BTW, did you know that a bunch of idiots mistook a weather balloon for a UFO at Roswell. The govt. sometimes comes up with some real yarns......
To: berned
I believe in UFO's. I also do not believe they necessarily are "aliens." To deny their are UFO's calls thousands of eyewitnesses, including law enforcement officers and MILITARY OFFICERS idiots. This just does not make sense.
And if they were all wrong about seeing strange objects in teh sky, why the secrecy on the part of the govt.?
The only LOGICAL conclusion one can reach is that their are UFO's, which does not mean they are necessarily 'aliens' either. To deny UFO's is to call many intelligent people fools and to consider one's armchair judgmental attitude more valuable than the testimony of jet fighters etc.

What was the blue ball, pray tell?

Does anyone here believe in UFO's? My sister and I were walking Wednesday night at 2:00 A.M. and saw passing beneath the moon what appeared to be two enormous objects with moonlight reflecting off their structure. They were traveling (two of them) in line, almost as if they were docking. Then they diverged, one going up, the other down.
Two enormous glittering objects whch would not have been seen had they not been so close to the aura of the moon and had its reflection on their superstructure.
I am not a believer in the "friendly" visitors.
What's out there is deceptive, and sees humans as useful to their own ends.

Bernard, some people just can't stand that we don't know everything there is to know about the workings of nature and science. They will do anything to explain away happenings that defy our known understanding of the world because it means we don't have all the answers. Just ignore these desperate people.

Sh*t , This man would scream if he had a hang nail .. I'm afraid he was 1 of those perfumed princes . Indeed looking back on it I would not change a single thing .
It truly was a chance in a lifetime . For the record I still have flashes of Government speak sometimes also . 'Ya never lose it ;)

Yup. I saw that last night on TV, too.

Right. It definitely is possible. Believing every event is unexplained is not good, just as discounting every UFO story is not good.
I wish there was some way to find a balance on this. It really gets me angry when I see the govt. just scoff at these reports when they come out. They don't even try to prove that their version of the story is correct and just call the eyewitnesses (which over time have to be in the thousands) as stupid idiots that can't tell a weather balloon from a freaking aircraft.

A few years ago, an astronaut from the space shuttle reported seeing some strange UFO's outside.
Guess what.....the tapes of the encounter are 'MISSING.'
To: Thinkin' Gal
You must have made that up.
They dumped her here.
They wouldn't want her back.

And some people prefer to look for a more logical answer, like the blue ball was the exhaust of a jet, rather than UFO mythology.

I'll re read your post , and certainly explore the link you have provided especially having been an Astronomy lover for some 2 decades now .
Frankly I do not put anything past self serving people , especially most people in the FedGov . They as a body have demonstrated there never ending lust for power .
What is your take on Dr . Greer ? What do you know about him CK ?
To: Judith Anne
Dear Judith,
My parents ranch in SE Colorado and I remember in the mid 70's several cases of cattle reported to be mutilated. One morning my Dad came upon a dead Holstein heifer in his silage pit while packing. Called the vet and sheriff, nothing conclusive? Varmints/coyotes? Who knows? I don't think my Dad is a kook, although he is in the sun alot. Ha Ha However, Judith sure described everything that I recall to a t.
During that time period, several of our neighbors reported seeing "helicoptors" that ran silent with "strobing" multi-color lights. Interesting to note that 1-2 years after this activity peaked, the US army confiscated 300,000 acres from our neighbors to develop the Pinon Canyon Maneuver Site. Coincidence? Don't know.
I remember several other tidbits but won't bore the string.

If you would read my posts, I said that is possible.

BTW, do you believe the countless civilians, including at least 4 on this very thread, as well as the military reports of UFO's, are all washed up? Do you believe we have an aircraft that is publicly revealed that can fly from one end of the horizon to the other in the time it takes to blink your eyes twice? Do you believe we have aircraft that come close to the ground and are bright balls of light that cause a car to stop working?
