Thanks for the education Jhoffa! I *did* think you were talking at/to me! I'm not from the U.S. so you'll have to forgive my lack of knowledge in certain areas.
As for my mouth, - what are YOU talking about? Is it because I said "whoopass?" That's a bonafide caffeine and sugar loaded highly addictive drink in a beer-like can, - from the States no less! ;)
Blessings, - Anij.

Sic transit gloria! Translation please, oh Latin one! In the vulgar tongue, "That's the way the cookie crumbles."

Mine too, I was hoping she wasn't serious, but they don't have sarcasm where she's from.

It's from a comedy where they towns people think they have found a witch, when it turns out not to be true they don't care and want to punish her anyway. Er, she was a witch. Don't you remember she weighed the same as a duck and even said it was a 'fair cop'.
Not that Hanoi Jane will ever admit she was wrong.
To: Dinsdale
Well, yeah..
But this was where Arthur answered the (ahem) "science" question but before the scales that proved her a witch..
That said, I concede the point.

"This probably isn't the place to start a Justification by Faith -vs- Justification by Works..."
Maybe not, but I bet a lot of people would benefit.

I use SBC/Yahoo. I pay 15.95 a month because I also use SBC phone service.
To: Mudboy Slim
That is some good news! And payback is a Bi*&h right Ted-o? Hope Hanoi Jane took some hits too!
To: SlickWillard
Turner, who's lost $9.3 billion Love it! I wonder if he'll come through with his $1B for the UN? That would put his net worth at $1.95.

AOL and Time Warner jooining hands (in our pockets) was a marriage made in hell. Both groups have the worst customer service records in history. I was astonished that Netscape avoided some of the rot. Their corporate philosophy was founded upon Commrade Ted's personal ethic (sic).
Commrade Ted's own philosophy is 'gimmie yer money, fool' and his communist socialist agenda is renown. But he is so infatuated with himself, that even Hanoi Jane left him.
Now his financial empire is falling down...the Commie News Network is ridiculed around the world, Atlanta is seeking zoning restrictions against anything named 'Turner', and the rest of us do not want him in our neighborhoods.
Maybe he can find a home in Havana.
I am mucho pleased to see the worm turn.
To: SlickWillard
Wake me when he is actually on the ledge......

This is truely bad news for American taxpayers. Now we'll be forced to fork up the money he had promised the U.N., you watch...

aol was a garbage stock, especially at 150 times earnings and a crappy servicewell stated. aol is charging premium prices for services and features i can now get with a standard internet provider and microsoft software that comes on my pc. the union of content and provider has not happened, nor is it about to happen quickly. it appears that bill gates is slaying ted turner.

I had a feeling AOL is garbage stock and there is no way I would invest. Also, it offers crummy service giving me porn mail I don't want and hackers IMing me messages to see a webcam page I cannot block. I am starting to believe 123.com offers better service!

Shame on Ted for saying Christianity is a loser religion.
He deserves to lose everything he has earned. He is the real loser.
To: TC Rider
The scumbags never "give money back" - - they only launder it and cook the books to hide the true source, all with the complicity of the donor, who is made to understand the importance of appearances (wink, wink).
To: Lancey Howard
Thank goodness the Sainted John McCain has changed all this by giving us campaign finance reform.
