Absolutely right, every time I get off work early to watch Inside Politics, it's about Judy Woodcock setting up critical stories about Bush, and having all the dimocrats on spewing their typical lines. It's a 1 hour Bush-bash anymore, typical for CNN

"All of them are superb. I miss David Schuster, never did hear why Ailes fired him.

I can't comment on Major, haven't seen enough of him, I only know him, when the President calls on him in a press conference...."Major?"....(no nickname there)...HOWEVER, I do know David Schuster, and I don't miss him on Fox for one second. He always reminded me of why I didn't watch CNN, MSNBC or any of the other alphebet channels. Sniping networky-like remarks.....he never belonged at FNC....

Fired? I didn't hear that one. I always liked him. Wonder what happened?

Good pick! I think Garret and Hume attend the same Pray Group. But I have to wonder how the current Fox White House reporters are going to take the comp? Or is someone being replaced?

May be that explains why David Shuster is now with msnbc.

When did this happen? I figured he was just on vacation, my standard assumption when I don't see X,Y,Z for awhile on Fox.

Even though I don't like Greta I understand that it was a good business move. I just tune her out.

I'm going to post this one up when I get a chance. This is Greta grilling Harvey Pitt last weekend. When I saw this, I remembered our pals Billary, the lawyerly gifts that keep on giving. :-)

=============================================

(BEGIN VIDEOTAPE)

PITT: I've been on the job now for about 11 months. I have no intention of practicing law again, so, as far as I'm concerned, my only client and the only people I'm interested in are the American investing public.

How do they know it? They can look at what we're doing. Unfortunately, the information about what the SEC is doing doesn't always get out to the public because there are so many politicians who want to take advantage of this situation that their sound bites of attack and finger pointing drown out our message of all the things we're now doing to restore confidence to the market.

VAN SUSTEREN: But when you talk about -- I mean, when you talk about being a lawyer, one of the issues is the appearance of impropriety, not actual, but appearance of...

PITT: Right.

VAN SUSTEREN: ... impropriety. Now a lot of people are probably thinking, "Why shouldn't someone else do this who doesn't have this history?" Even if Harvey Pitt is the fairest man in the world, the bet lawyer in the world, it has one issue in terms of competence in the investigation. How do you respond to that?

Accidentally watching HARDBALL tonight, and caught a David Schuster report. I'm glad he's not in a DC bread line.

Is Brit Hume a Christian? I've been praying for him on and off since Sandy died (seeing the grief in his face was heartbreaking), but I haven't had cable for a couple of years and haven't kept up with him. thanks!

According to a friend of mine in DC who knows Hume. Hume is a big Christian, so is his wife I think her name is Kimberly. Hume even has a Bible sitting on his desk and reads it. I am told Hume attends a Pray Group once a week with other Christian News people. Hume is also very active at his Church. The other big Christian in Fox is Tony Snow, while I do not like his reporting style, it's just to wishy washy for me, it is my understanding that Snow does almost the same things in other Prayer Groups.

I have got to hand it to Hume and Snow to maintain they're Christianity in a business of sharks, screwballs and liars is almost a miracle in itself.

I didn't know that Schuster went to work for MSNBC? When did this happen? I don't watch Hardball like I don't watch Hannity and Combs, O'Reilly, Cross Fire, Larry King or most of the other talking heads, its all bull. Schuster was a good reporter for Fox. He had a different style, he asked tough questions even if it offended an Administration Official. He was fair with both Republicans and Democrats. I think he got slammed out of Fox because of this. If MSNBC hired him I am glad he rebounded, I understand he had a tough go of it, politically speaking.

I noticed this week while channel-surfing that David Schuster, formerly of FoxNews, is now on MSNBC. I always liked his reporting and was sorry that Fox lost him. Perhaps Garrett is a replacement since Schuster's beat seemed to be the WH and Capitol Hill.

Thanks for the info. You're right, it's gotta be hard to maintain in that atmosphere...although where sin abounds, grace abounds more. I know how 'interesting' it can be with my co-workers, who aren't hostile, just clueless. I don't mean that critically of them. It's like expecting a blind man to understand what the color blue looks like (or a dead man understanding rebirth and eternal life). Thanks again.
