Article I Section 2: The House of Representatives shall chuse their Speaker and other Officers; and shall have the sole Power of Impeachment.

Article I Section 3: The Senate shall have the sole Power to try all Impeachments.

Article II Section 4: The President, Vice President and all civil Officers of the United States, shall be removed from Office on Impeachment for, and Conviction of, Treason, Bribery, or other high Crimes and Misdemeanors.

Article III Section 1: The Judges, both of the supreme and inferior Courts, shall hold their Offices during good Behaviour

Three democrat district judges in Florida ruled with Bush, et. al. I think we should take the impeachment threats very seriously,(though not the"rats" logic). Their history suggests that they will carry through with their threats to the point of plunging our nation into civil war. An example of what would happen already manifests itself in California with the Democrats' intrusions onto personal liberties and their manifest hatred of traditional family and moral values. Given their penchant for taxation, particularly taxation as a means of behavioural modification and at some point in our future the will be a "flight or fight scenario". Only, there are no more new worlds to fly to, to establish a new nation free of this one world system being foisted on us. They will"French Revolutionize"(ahhh... the song of the falling guillotine)the GOP and all right winggers that get in their way.To many "rats", the time for direct action has come as they have no more patience with the processes of our representative republic. During wartime? ..the Democrats are starting this action..we know how Low the stock market can go but how Low can a Democrat really go?

Yes, during wartime.

I was counting on this, among other things, happening to the Democratic Party.

Bill Clinton and his DLC friends taught the Democrats that to win national elections they had to do two things: run as moderates and paint the Republicans as extremists.

They were successful at both efforts. For a time. Long enough to win two national elections.

What I am counting on is that with Clinton gone and the DLC out of power, the Democratic Party will return to its social Democratic roots of populist militancy, gun-grabbing, and racial identity politics. Already one can see that the liberals have siezed absolute power in the Senate. Moderate Democrats are not heard. The likes of John Breaux and Zell Miller are lonely voices in their caucus.

The guys who ran this "Impeachment" effort are the leftists who supported Clinton. The ground troops who Clinton so easily betrayed when it suited his purposes now want to carry on in "his" memory. And they hate us. They hate all Republicans. It is a visceral hatred, very much wrapped up in a self-righteous conviction that only they have the right to rule because only they have the right answers.

This militancy is already rampant in the Black Caucus and among the Washington Democratic Party apparat, among other groups. It is also joined by the powerful Hollywood monied elite and the Bay Area dotcom crowd. They are very resentful and have a sense of grievance that I have seen in other times and other places, notably in Weimar Germany.

We can sieze on this militancy for our own ends. Remember how Clinton undid us to his own ends: he painted us as extremists. Some of us cooperated rather unwittingly. Others, most notably the House Managers, did thier constitutional duty. All were labeled as "Clinton haters" by the White House propaganda apparatus.

We must learn the right tactical lessons from the Clintoons while guarding against the moral effluent that was his grand design. The Democrats are exposing themselves as hyperpartisan. There is where we can get them. But we need a good economy to help us along and a victory in Iraq.

Bush needs his lucky rabbit's foot back, that's for damn sure.

I wrote to the editor of the Washington Times about this. I said that this wasn't consentual sex -- it was sexual harrassment. Consider:

• Sexual harrassment is defined as creating a hostile work environment. If you put nude pinups on the walls at work, or tell "dirty" jokes, you are creating a hostile work environment and can be sued for sexual harrassment.
• Even though Clinton and Lewinsky had consentual sex, how did that make other interns feel? Did other interns get the message that the only way to advance is to put out?
• How did Betty Currie feel about it? Was she happy to store all of Clinton's gifts to Lewinsky in her home? Was arranging meetings with Lewinsky something that she felt was a part of her job description as Executive Secretary to the highest executive in the country?

It wasn't the relations between Clinton and Lewinsky that were the sexual harrassment, it was the impact it had on everyone else at the office that was the issue. This, however, was ignored by the media. At least the editor of the Washington Times agreed with me. She wrote back to say so.

I took the link to Democrat.com and used their registration service to reregister as Republican at my new address.
I then completed their survey to let them know.
Reading one paragraph of their hysterical nonsense convinced me that it's always important to get out and vote against Democrats.
