MORRISTOWN, N.J. -- An Egyptian man found with more than 100 forms of false identification is not suspected of having terrorist ties, authorities said Wednesday.
Hani Hassan, 26, is being held in Morris County on fraud and public records tampering charges.
He was arrested July 19 in Morristown after a tip to the state attorney general's office that Hassan had obtained a driver's license using false information.
Authorities searched his Orange home, and found more than 100 forms of false identification, including Social Security cards, passports, bank account records and other documents.

Maybe the press disinformation will be too much sooner or later and someone will get mad.
Authorities are trying to determine what Hassan intended to do with the bogus documents, said John Hagerty, a spokesman for the state Division of Criminal Justice.
If the fake 100 items had been 100 cartoon-style ball and fuse bombs, it STILL might not have raised the eyebrows of Agent Sandra Carroll, or purplexed the "authorities"...
One ID would suffice. Multiple identities should be sending up big warning flags.
Apparently, 100 fake IDs isn't enough. The "red flag" might go up once a thousand fake IDs are confiscated....
If some white guy in Montana was found with 3 fake IDs, a SWAT team might be dispatched...
Why of course. One hundred different ID's means he can apply for one hundred different driver's licences and get one hundred different voter registrations under the Motor Votor Program which means ninety nine extra votes for the Democrats every Election Day.
