Barney Frank found Gobie through an ad in the Washington Blade, the newspaper serving the local homosexual community. Gobie had run an ad in the classifieds touting his wares--"a hot bottom and a good time".
Barney got in trouble, not because he was frequenting Gobie, but because he tried to fix some traffic tickets that Gobie had received across the river in Alexandria. When asked about it by reporters, Frank actually told them "I'm a big sucker". This is the genesis of Rush Limbaugh's "Barney Frank Update Theme", "My Boy Lollipop" by Millie Small.

Either way, it is very difficult to watch. Not to me. He looks and sounds like he is telling the truth.
I am very sorry we are going to lose him.

Now there's a yuppie joker named Hulsof spouting off ... what's he ever done or said of note before? I'm judging Traficant by those speaking against him as much as anything else.
To: jporcus

This jerk from Texas just said "when we have to discipline ourselves...." blah blah blah and they just voted themselves a raise at our expense. Now that's discipline.

I am tired of hearing how NO ONE WANTS to be on the ethics committee. Why? Not glamorous enough? I guess it is similar to being IAD in the police dept.

These people think way too much of themselves. They really think they are special and beloved. They do live in a dream world.
One of the reasons I like Trafficant, he knows who he is and what he is.
