You know Soviet style communism opposed homosexuality too. We oppose it for the damage it causes, not what we have in common. All societies have laws governing sexual morality.
Besides, homosexuality is quite common in fundamentalist countries. Muslims seem to be of tow minds. Raping young boys is fine to them. If you read the Hadith, Mohammed had homosexuals in his army and regularly gave the young boys or adolecents of conquered towns to them.
And that some people, in these discussion precincts, might actually support such an incidental outcome? ... I doubt it.

Buy a clue. I suggested that very few FReepers would be notably perturbed at this outcome. That's only one shade on the favorable side of "supporting death" outright, but it's still a considerable distance into the realm of moral depravity.
The distance between such not-that-perturbed types and, say, a Fred Phelps of the Westover Baptist Church of Wichita, Kansas, who pickets AIDS victims' funerals with slavering hate on placards ... well, it's not that much.
