I consider Shehada's wife and children justified casualties. The same Palestinians screaming loudly about their deaths have been the same Palestinians clapping hands and cheering lustily when entire Jewish families were wiped out by homocide bombers. Apparently they're appalled when the shoe's on the other foot. The families of terrorists deserve no immunity whatsoever in what is after all a war and even that is misleading since one side to the conflict in no way considers itself bound by the Geneva Conventions and the laws of war. The Palestinians made their bed and need go down and lie and (perhaps) die in it.

He probably went everywhere with a shield of civilians, including his kids. Typical of these people, putting their kids in harms way.

These cowardly bastards in Hamas have been preying on the Israeli civilians and their own people for years. They send useful idiots to there suicides with perverted religion, they attack the innocent and then they take cover behind the skirts of their own women and the bodies of their own children.

These bastards established the rules of enguagement...now they can die by them.

And sad to say, when I heard the description of one of them lifting the body of the baby on high, my initial reaction was, "Well, there is one terrorist we won't have to worry about in 13 years!"

If this story is true, then great. Israel should attempt to minimize civilian casualties just like we do in Afghanistan. Judging from the previous stories, the Israelis had little regard for the civilian lives that were lost. They didn't indicate that anything was wrong with their attack procedures.
I guess time will tell. I am not going to pretend that I know better than they do how to deal with their terrorism problem. But I know what mistakes are and that raid was clearly a mistake.

When Arabs declare war on civilized societies, they must learn that civilian deaths happen in war. Palestinians are very eager to kill Israeli citizens but then they scream when their own are killed.

The Pals have made a career of using and hiding behind innocents--and it has been effective thus far, until Israel began to regard its own situation as desperate. This is ruthless, but it is just. We know how little value the Pals place on innocents, since they sacrifice them so easily. Their tears are crocodiles'...Israel probably cries more for these than the Pal men ever would. If Israel manages to cripple the Hamas leadership, maybe the innocents will have a chance.

Israeli intelligence/surveillance of the islamists never ceases to impress me. I wish their guys were working for us trying to locate Usama.

Another thought... I'll bet many of this guy's cohorts were at the funeral. I'm sure you all know what I'm thinking... :-)

Dear IDF,

Thank you very much!

I don't know of all the details, but I do know that this wasn't just another military mission. Things have broken loose. I mean joy has broken loose among the supporters of Israel.

I was surprised (pleasantly) to see the reaction to this mission. It was universal joy.

It has exploded, (the joy) among the supporters of Israel and the IDF.

I was in a KSR pizza joint in Manhattan today and after the transaction I said "Shalom, Go Israel!" and joy was released. From me and then from the gentleman behind the counter.

I didn't have to explain... he knew! We know!

Praise Yah! From the rising of the sun, to it's going down, Praise Yah!

God bless the IDF, now and forever!

JJ
