1992 was an abberation....most Dems bailed on the nomination because they figured that Bush 41 was unbeatable.....no one counted on the Perot factor....

This electoral season, with the plethora of primaries, they have to run to the left first to get the nomination, then try to come back to the center to win the election...The Dems have sold their party's soul to the hard-left constituency groups, unions, etc.....and they control the primaries....

Also, folks forget that in 2000 Gore ran to the left...look at how he coc-opted Bradley in the primaries.....

This is basically the flip side of the same rant we get here from the Brigadeers and the Howard Phillips types. To me, the most telling line in the whole piece is this:

In his mind, there has been some shocking development. Millions voted for Nader. He's sure the media is having trouble coping with this. Yet only inches away, outside his head, Ralph Nader was squashed like a bug. A few years from now, most people will have to be reminded that he was even in the race.

It is very frustrating to think, "I am important. There are millions just like me. We must be heard," and then watch as the Steamroller Of Life turns you into part of the pavement. About all you can do when that happens is write an article like this one.
