This is basically the flip side of the same rant we get here from the Brigadeers and the Howard Phillips types. To me, the most telling line in the whole piece is this:

    Perhaps the nation's media establishment can cope with the shock of seeing millions of Americans vote for Nader

In his mind, there has been some shocking development. Millions voted for Nader. He's sure the media is having trouble coping with this. Yet only inches away, outside his head, Ralph Nader was squashed like a bug. A few years from now, most people will have to be reminded that he was even in the race.

It is very frustrating to think, "I am important. There are millions just like me. We must be heard," and then watch as the Steamroller Of Life turns you into part of the pavement. About all you can do when that happens is write an article like this one.

"We showed 'em. We shocked 'em. Ya shoulda seen it man, there were millions of us. And then... and then..."

Splat.
