Ok, maybe its just me but what a great idea.
You know I was wondering what the mothers that went by these kids thought. "Hmmmmm, that's an idea!"
To: steveo
Sounds like a very creative solution to a problem. I support this activity. 40 years ago they would have been beaten with a belt. This seems quite a bit more merciful.

Uh...sorry I disagree.
Shame punishment is something that could be more effective than jail in some cases I think. Too bad we don't have the stocks anymore.
To: steveo
Why not have the kids run ON the highway, carrying "I am Super-stud" signs?
To: OldFriend
Well heck, they got to be on tv.
To: zcat
Two teenage boys were forced to stand on a road with signs apologizing to all mothers for staying out late,
Dweezil and Jared: "Get me Johnnie Cochran - Schnell!!"
To: steveo
looks like you are being sarcastic......:)
I should look at keywords more often.

A search for the boys ended with the discovery that the pair had gone out with a couple of girls all night.I hope the girls were also sufficiently embarrassed that it makes them stop and think too. It could save them a whole world of trouble later.

THIS MUST STOP!What gives any parent the right to submit their own child to this type of public humiliation?
This is insane! No child should be made to submit to this type of humiliation without wearing a dunce hat and pink polka dotted boxer shorts.
Would you happen to have an address where I can mail them some proper public humiliation attire?
To: Corin Stormhands
Geez a lu, now that I read and re-read that post the sarcasm is incredibly thick....I am embarrassed for missing it....lol.
To: steveo
The only thing that can really "punish" a teen these days is pure humiliation. Any other punishment they will blow off or see as cool.

I like your sense of humor. Popcorn dry. Good stuff.
Better use your sarcasm tag for those who don't appreciate it, though.

Three cheers for a good dose of Public Humiliation Therapy.
Reminds me of a story I heard about a guy who saw some punk stealing his hubcaps. Put a 12 gauge to the punks head and had his neighbor hogtie him with a power cord. Seems it took the Detroit Police nearly 5 hours to show up. All the neighbors took turns watching him and taking oplenty of photos, etc.
Gotta love it.
