You stupid moron. Here's an article showing that the repressive regime is getting desperate because the Iranian masses are turning on them and becoming pro-American, and you want to nuke all of them? Provoke a much wider war when it may not be needed?
Gee, what's your heavy-handed solution for things you don't like here? Instead of instigating change through the voting booth, would you just nuke any state than has leaned Democrat in the past? Nuke California, instead of giving Simon a chance? Lots of California Freepers would prefer a more sane solution.
What a disgrace. You are certainly no professional medical doctor. A true doctor can analyze a problem and prescribe an appropriate treatment, not an overkill. You would whack off an arm because there is a wart on a finger.

Irwin Corey is the guy in the middle.

You must be a young whippesnapper. By this fellow assuming the good professor's moniker, one can safely assume he is goofing. Your right, now isn't the time to tick off the good ones over there (but I gotta say, the political and military relations of the west and east isn't exactly a picture of conciliation).

I take it you're unaware of the origin of the screen-name "Irwin Corey." Well, it does go back a few years. Try a Google Search under "Professor Irwin Corey."

Here's an article showing that the repressive regime is getting desperate because the Iranian masses are turning on them and becoming pro-American, and you want to nuke all of them? Provoke a much wider war when it may not be needed? That was my thought as well. I'm somewhat hopeful about Iran. Almost 50% of their population was born after the Hostage Crisis, and they have repeatedly shown that they disagree with the ruling theocrats and want pro-Western reforms. There is hope for a solid ally in the future there. It could even be that statements like Rafsanjani's will help inflame them, and cause them to act sooner, rather than vote later, for reform. Iran's vast experience at warring with Iraq just might come in handy, too. ;^)
