The problem, Rush, is that not everyone on the right is as enamoured of "corporate America" as you are. It is ironic that this all happened, not because of Republicans, but because of one fact: The Clinton Administration getting into bed with any and everyone who would give them money.
It's not that many conservatives want to "get" the big corprorations; they're just not going to see "going easy" on corporate America as "defending capitalism."
In many ways, there are NONE so anti-Capitalist and pro-Big Government as the largest corporations.
They would LOVE to have the sort of "crony capitalism" that many of the socialist democracies enjoy.
