I do remember the gun-grabber numbers including adults. Tonight, looking in the phone book I saw an ad for "Child Locate" service, which said they recover a child every 72 hours but that one goes missing (kidnapping by stranger or family member, runaway, etc) every 40 seconds. That's pretty incredible. And disturbing if true. I can only assume that number must cover the world, not just the USA?

It might be just the US, but I expect it includes kids who go missing for an hour or two and turn out to have snuck off to the mall with a friend or something, and are perfectly fine.
