There had to eventually come a time when this would happen. Common sense says you cannot support every single left wing agenda at once, because you will run into conflict. My favorite pasttime these days is to grab a bowl of popcorn, a comfy chair, and sit back to watch this ever growing cannabalism fest by the left.

For my amusement, I frequently monitor (as opposed to listen to) one of the more hardcore "public" radio stations. If these people were ever successful in bringing down Western Civilization and this station's hosts and correspondents had to decide among themselves who would be in charge, there would be some interesting conflicts:

• Radical Islamists vs. radical gays and feminists.

• Homeless/affordable housing advocates who want free resources vs. environmentalists who want resources priced so high no one consumes anything.

• The host of the classical music hour who follows up broadcasts of Bach's church music with disclaimers about Christianity being a false religion vs. the host of the black gospel hour.

Like they say, the worst punishment you can mete out against a leftist is to make him live in a country with exactly the form of government he wants, but he's not the one in charge.
