The problem is that: (a) we send our children there as college students for indoctrination and return to our world; (b) the city keeps expanding its influence into the rest of the Finger Lakes.
Also, its important to remember one of the main reasons why we post so many stories about "the City of Evil": THIS is a microccosm of what will happen to America if we let "them" win.
We can't be complacent and must keep fighting because otherwise the whole country could become one big Ithaca.
Easily solved. Don't send your kids there. And remember my proposal to make it a gated community (the wall with razor wire); that ought to mitigate the influence expansion.

Well, maybe. I'm from central Pennsylvania, and I just don't see it happening that way here no matter who says so. After all, no less a pundit than James Carvile (yes, it's mispelled, and yes, I meant it that way) called PA Pittsburgh and Philadelphia separated by Alabama. That he didn't mean it as a compliment doesn't keep us from taking it as one.

I agree about fighting the good fight, but rather than one big Ithaca I think you'd see the breakup of the country itself.
Excellent point. Plus, it is so much fun reading about these people getting worked up over the most ridiculous things!
