Ahh, now a series of throws is different. I was wondering actually if that's what you meant. Yeah, I've done it with dice too like you mean but I never "count" that because like I said, it can be explained away statistically. But yes, I know what you mean about the exhiliration- I was the one throwing the dice and I just knew I would throw boxcars and did. You can see that sometimes with really lucky crap shooters. When they get on a roll it's practically supernatural, like they can't miss and they believe they can't miss- I think that's key somehow.

You got any theories on this btw? That's why I ever mentioned it in the first place, because I want an explanation (hopefully a rational one). I like to have things sorted you know? This quantum entanglement angle is intriguing but the scientific community at large doesn't even acknowledge this sort of thing- if you were to go asking a physicist or physics prof he'd just roll his eyes and write you off as a nutter. I'd figure The Amazing Randi would be a good guy to approach, but he'd want to test it and I've never been able to pull a song out of the air by wanting to- it always just happened. Any ideas would be appreciated.

I'd be in Vegas right now! LOL! I heard that. My own theory about the music is- other people are listening to the song, maybe singing it out loud and being emotionally involved with it- music's good for that. At any rate, that's what I figure people pick up on- not the radio signal or anything but other people, perhaps many other people singing the song at once; all those minds would be focused in exactly the same way at the same time.

But I still want to know about the physics behind it- I'd never be satisfied with a kooky explanation.

Yes. I do and many others. To many people it surely is a great mystery but in this case it is very simple. But if I told you probably wouldn't believe me anyway.

Yeah, those are all things I'd like some sort of explanation for. Like being watched and you know it. There's got to be a good explanation for that and you'd think science would be all over that like white on rice because of the communications implications if they could amplify or expand on it mechanically somehow. Security systems, defense- the applications would be numerous.

I have never been in a Casino.  The times I predicted throws
was playing board games.  I can't tell when the muse is
going to strike, so I'd probably lose my ass in real gambling
before the feeling came around.  How about your expriences?

A good scientist only looks at what he feel, taste, see, hear, and smell. He deals only in the natural realm. It is not his place to deal in the spiritual realm. Even though many scientists do believe there is a God.

How about your expriences?

I have had countless experiences both in ESP and now that I'm a Christian countless experiences with God inspiring me or showing me things. ESP and God I do not put into the same category. It's a spiritual matter.

Yeah well, they have to deal with facts that can be quantified- it wouldn't be science if they didn't. I'm not too much for the spiritual thing- there's no way to measure it. If it occurs in the natural world (and my experiences did), there's got to be a natural explanation. One of the big obstacles scientists have to seriously looking into it is- if they would announce that they are doing serious research on it, they'd have every nutter in the world coming to see them AND people who could actually show some verifiable ESP- they'd never be able to wheedle out the nuts though.

What I'm looking for is a nice simple explanation but nobody I ever talked to about it had one- not even my wife who is a doctor (I asked her to give me an educated professional opinion since she witnessed it). She said since there was no other possible explanation- it must be coincidence. Well, so much for inquiring minds, huh?

My first thought was that you were picking up the radio waves. Do you notice any oddities with electricity?

The natural realm and the spiritual realm run under a different set of rules. By our own free will we can do things in the natural realm but it doesn't work that way in the spiritual realm. The natural realm can be qualified/quantified but the spiritual realm cannot be. The spiritual realm can be experienced (and it is much more than we realize) but we cannot force the spiritual realm to do anything. It's like a cat, they are very hard to test their IQ because they do what they want to do when and if they want. They could care less about any stupid test.

Odd about the electricity? In the car? Or just around? Can't say that I remember anything like that. Like I say, it's not something I can do (actively) and I know loads of other people that have said they had experienced the same thing (singing a song and it was also on the radio)- although apparantly not on this thread. It's just happened on several occasions- a dozen perhaps, and I don't remember being in any unusual state of mind or there being a thunderstorm or anything like that. Just came and went.

yeah, but see there's the rub- how do you prove your explanation? And if it can't be proved or at least demonstrated reliably, how to improve on it and make a gadget? I think if there is a God- he doesn't need to violate the rules of his own universe in his interactions with us. Even this spiritual explanation should have a verifiable basis.

I ask because it may make a difference. I have very acidic skin and conduct electricity very well. This might explain my sensitivity to life force. I still think, when the condititions are right (what ever those conditions may be) you are picking up the radio signals. It would be interesting to know if when this happened to you, whether the signals were anywhere near the same frequency.

As to the spiritual stuff, there has been tests done and in a very scientific way. They conducted a double blind study on prayer. The findings? It works.
