President Bush submitted a formal outline for the proposed cabinet-level department of Homeland Security today in a brief ceremony outside the White House. Bush, joined by Vice President Cheney and members of Congress, called on both parties to work together to ensure that the future of America is safer than it was before September 11th. Enjoy your daily dose of Dubya!

>>>perhaps because he has the biggest head in the picture or something...>>>
That would be the only thing big on Little Tommy.

I'm thinking we're going to have to take turns monitoring you, MamaB!!!! Are you OK? Do YOU need to see a doctor??? Don't do the typical Mom thing, and wait too long.
To: McLynnan
Thanks for the welcome back! I missed all of you -- it's good to be back.

Say, DrDeb, I saw a Ladies Home Journal (got a haircut yesterday) that asked who you would most like to have as a friend. The biggest number of those voting said
Laura Bush, at 17%! I thought that was really neat!
(Of course the next one down was that icky Julia Roberts, but Laura got the top spot)!

Actually, I think he's next to the lady in the purple. Notice that (small) space there?
I'm just glad that ugly DeLaurio woman's face was hidden in that picture.

I do wish with all my being that someone would teach Ridge to wipe the perpetual scowl off his face.

Well, it could have been a lot worse. We have a door at the kitchen near the stove but we hardly ever use it. I should have just opened that one and tossed the pan out on the patio instead of going through the den to that door. I was just determined to get that pan of fire out of the house before the whole thing caught fire!!!! Just the area around my right thumb and that area is burned. Not severely but bad enough that I know I was too near fire!!!

Thank you for posting the link. I cannot seem to get that part right yet. I went searching for word on the First Lady when I had not seen her for several days. She is probably taking a break from D.C. W. might can turn the other cheek but I bet Laura and Moma Bush are ready to step on some Rats!

Dubya has too much class to try to stay in the lime light and be a pain in the a$$ to his successor.True. Besides, I'm sure he did that enough to Jeb when they were kids. :-D

Isn't it baking soda (or something like that!) that you're supposed to keep near the stove in case of a fire?
Baking powder?
Great. I'm no help.

Well, I think it is. I had a sack of flour near the stove so I just grabbed that and took it outside and poured that on the fire. You should have seen the blaze. I did not know flour would burn like that. I finally got enough on it to get it nearly out, then I saw a flower pot full of water so I just poured that on the remaining flames. It ruined one of my good pans. Boohoo!!!!

I go ballistic, enough is enough already with the trashing of business just to get to get political gain. The media make me just as angry as the RATS. Their is no integrity in Journalism anymore at all.
We are at war, and all they are talking about is Harkin, Enron, et al.
To: Brad's Gramma
Hi! I think you're right - baking powder.
Course in this house we just got, there's a fire extinguisher right near the stove...gee, I guess it pays to buy from "parents of small children."
Take care, MamaB!

Tha sad part is there is no reason why he should have to weather anything. The CEO's and unethical accountants are to blame for this and the Democrats have made the situation worse by policizing it. The RATS would stand by and watch the economy crash if it meant they would regain or hold power. They're are the enemy.
