I'm always amazed by guys who pass themselves off as 'tough-guys.'
Seriously. Ever read some of their posts? Most of them wind up being redneck hicks, with their stories about shootin' the dog and throwing stray cats into a bag and then into the lake, or beating them with a ball bat. Migod, what the hell kind of people are these and what year do they live in? I see them as wearing coveralls with no shoes, a hayseed in their mouth, and playing 'dueling banjos.'

"Most of them wind up being redneck hicks"HEY, Hubby's a redneck hick. Sure, he's had to put a few dogs down for running deer. One of them was his own...he HATED it. He got that look on his face when I called him over to read the article...the one that means "If I ever meet you, your teeth are INTESTINAL MATTER"...not all rednecks are bad. I know &#G> I are one too! And don't worry, I DO understand what you're trying to say.

I'm sorry - but I agree with you about 'tough-kitten-cooking-apologists' - my husband and I both are US Army veterans and served in combat zones - we both think this is sick. But, more than that: how does this kind of citizen/attitude affect our nation in the long run; I can only quote one of the founders as I did earlier:
"Our Constitution was made only for a moral and religious people. It is wholly inadequate to the government of any other." - John Adams
If the grilling and torture of a kitten is 'moral' then I suppose their point of view is valid...if not moral...then anyone can reach the obvious counclusion about thier opinions on this matter.
