This lady did not post much recently but was a heavy poster of articles in earlier days of FR. (much like Kattracks and JohnHuang2 are today).
To Pat - and her beloved Bruce and her other beloveds - God's gained a great patriot. Keep them straight up there, Pat! And God will surely take care of your loved ones left behind.
One note - there are needs related to Pat's lengthy illness that could use some help. If you are interested in helping out with something like that, just Freepmail me, OK? This is not a fundraiser - just a Memorial Gift note. Thanks!

Someday I Will Lead The Parade
After all my lonely nights
Without an end in sight
A morning shining bright for me awaits
Where the sweetest times will last
All's forgiven from the past
Someday I will
One day I know I will
Someday I will lead the parade
Though they've scattered through the years
Old friends will gather near
With nothing but the kindest words to say
And the sweetest times will last
All's forgiven from the past
Someday I will
One day I know I will
Someday I will lead the parade
And the sweetest times will last
All's forgiven from the past
Someday I will lead the parade

It is so hard to lose our loved ones, but at least we know that we shall see them some day. RIP, Lex, and may your family be comforted.

God's gained a great patriot Indeed. She was a constant presence when first I started lurking. Very sad news ...
Know that though I'm happy for Lex, I'm very sorry for your loss and that of others fortunate enough to know and love her as a friend.

Oh Victory, in Jesus, my Savior, forever
He Sought me, and Bought Me, with His Redeeming Blood
He Loved me 'ere I knew Him, and all my love is due Him.
He Plunged to Victory, beneath the cleansing flood.
I'll pray for the family, being that the Lord will lay His hands own on them and console them. As for Patricia Johnson, her pain is gone.

Safely Home I am home in heaven, dear ones,
All's so happy, all's so bright
There's perfect joy and beauty
In this everlasting light.
All the pain and grief are over,
Every restless tossing passed
I am now at peace forever,
Safely home in heaven at last.
Did you wonder how I so calmly
Trod the Valley of the Shade?
Oh, but Jesus' love illumined
Every dark and fearful glade.
And he came himself to meet me
On the way so hard to tread;
And with Jesus' arm to lean on,
Could I have one doubt or dread?
Then you must not grieve so sorely,
For I love you dearly still,
Try to look beyond Earth's shadows,
Pray to trust our Father's will.
There is still work waiting for you,
So you must not idle stand,
Do your work while life remaineth,
You shall rest in Jesus' land.
When that work is all completed,
He will gently call you home,
Oh, the rapture of the meeting,
Oh, the joy to see you come.

Do you know where we can find her obituary? We usually post it with the notice.
