Common side effects may include nausea, breast tenderness, headaches, and abdominal pain.
That sure doesn't sound like a good alternative. Check out the page I just posted about citrus and cardiac disease. Best of all, there are no bad side effects to drinking citrus. BTW, I have noticed that all these drugs now advertised on TV have a followup warning (in a quick, hushed voice) of the dire side effects of taking whatever drug that was just promoted. Often the side effects are much worse than whatever was ailing you in the first place. Here is my impression of a typical such commercial warning:
"If you take Zamflax, common side effects may include stomach aches, asthma, insomnia, headaches, nausea, diarrhea fits, road rage, festering skin lesions, blindness, amnesia, impotence, uncontrollable drooling, and a tendency to vote the straight Demmycrat ticket."
