Now we come to the saddest dupes of the immigration debate: what Lenin called the "useful idiots" of the Right.

It is time for these people to wise up and realize that they are pawns of a far-left agenda. Immigrants who come to this country only fatten the voting blocs of the Left which oppose the economic agenda of libertarians, anyway, so these people are just shooting themselves in the foot.

"Useful Idiots"! What a nasty, hurtful thing to say about a goodly percentage of the 'conservative' membership here on FR! (snicker)

Yes, the meek SHALL inherit the earth and sadly, it will then smell like a bean fart.

Most of us already know about the disastrous 1965 and 1990 Immigration "Acts", and who was behind it (most were not Jews, but Anglos and Catholics). What it's about today is pressuring Congress to reform immigration while the conservatives still have some say. Once the liberals retake the House, and they will one day, there will be no fixes, only more of the status-quo.

The question is- what do we have to do to wake them up? What's it going to take? In my opinion, the Republicans need to understand that to stay in power, they're going to have to start paying attention to their base on this and not to Karl Rove and Grover Norquist. That means close the border, and get more INS field agents in place for interior enforcement.

Washington: open your eyes, we're being invaded.

Don't know about that. These people aren't exactly meek. Read some of the drivel at aztlan.org and any of the Mecha(sp) sites. Meek they ain't.

Closed borders? Look at the countries that have tried it. Do we really want that sort of fascist/socialist state here?

Unchecked immigration is guaranteed to give us national socialism delivered through the democrat's well oiled vote fraud machinery. Call the solution a closed border, or a closed society, this invasion has to be repelled or we're done for.

Mr. Locke is being perfectly honest here. Unlike purveors of right-wing anti-semetism, he differenctiates between Jews and leftists of Jewish descent.

True enough, but I would say that he ignores the earlier influx of the '48ers and the acceptance of Marx's rantings by some among a generation of northeasterners. Marx was a European visitor, so he's right about communism never being a homegrown phenomenon here.

Communism found its most fertile soil in societies ruled by royalty. The royals had been invited by Americans to keep their rule to themselves and Americans had created for their descendants an example which showed communism for the folly it is long before the Europeans who believed Marx's lies immigrated here in large numbers in the period he mentions.

I think he makes some good points.

You sound like an isolationist. The same type Pres. Bush warns against in the article above.

The article above is from Reuters, a communist mouthpiece masquerading as a news service. Bush is a big government socialist who favors the same unchecked immigration his ideological pals across the aisle have been pushing for decades. If Bush would call me an isolationist, that would suit me just fine. I have some choice names for him as well.

Cecil, old boy; I've always wanted to ask you why on earth you wanted a world government and were willing to have Oxford educate at your expense thousands of young commie airheads like Kris Kristofferson and Willie J Clinton in order to advance your desired form of tyranny. Clue me in before you have to go back to the grave, will you?

Well sir it is obvious that multi-culturalism and it constituents will not fight the "clash of civilizations" deemed so necessary by the neocons, and to think the Frankfurt School could be so shortsighted.

The Brazil, Hondouras and Albania numbers stand out to me. BRAZIL in particular being far away from Mexico. They are world class schemers.

There must be major smuggling rings who conduct these Brazilians to Mexico.

Are you sure he's dead?? I figured he just crawls back into his casket at first sign of light, coming out only when it gets dark to feed us his tales from the crypt.

I love those loony PC terms. "Isolationist". I guess you could call a person who was exposed to hepatitis an "isolationist" if he chose to get a dose of gamma globulin to ward off infection. Stupid stuff, that PC-BS.

These one-worlders call me an isolationist all they want. I notice they don't have very many illegal aliens living in their neighborhoods.

Excellent article, and it is all factually true.

However, I would also add that the our own government doesn't want the open-border madness to stop because of the votes or money/business/cheap labor issue. Yet, there are some in there who are doing nothing about it in an effort to bring America to her knees, of which global governance will come more smoothly.

When I got these numbers yesterday, I was surprised by many of the countries on it. I knew most every country in Central America and South America would be on the list, but some of the Asian, Middle Eastern and European countries surprised me.

I think the biggest surprise was the Canadians. Thy can pretty much just walk in the front door, so why were they trying to sneak in the back door?

Probably not real Canadians but are 3rd worlders who happen to have a real or fake Canadian ID/passport. Or may be wanted 3rd world criminals in Canada and dare not go back.

How come I am smart enough to figure this out? It's all about the 3rd world my friend and how they want to get out of their pestholes and move to the USA by hook or by.........CROOK.

Marx was a European visitor, so he's right about communism never being a homegrown phenomenon here.

Americans weren't much into unions or Socialism until after the late 1800s and large waves of immigration brought in the type of people to support all that. Before then there weren't the kind of people who would support Socialist programs in the US.

The unions used to be the biggest opponents of illegal immigration. But just like big business the leadership has jumped on the bandwagon of late viewing them as a source of paying members. In upstate NY though at least, the rank and file does not want illegal immigrants around because they undercut wages. The INS has been getting called at construction sites where the illegals show up and they're removed. Too bad they don't do that nationwide.
