Michael Newdow is NOT an athiest...
FOX NEWS (Fox & Friends per Fox News Rita Cosby) | 07/15/02 | Me

Newdow is NOT an athiest. He is a PRACTICING Jew according to his child's mother per ED on Fox & Friends according to Rita Cosby's report interviewing Newdow's daughter's mother(they have never been married). He has always been "interested" in contitutional law is the reason given for taking this to court. Isn't THAT SPECIAL?!

It's my prayer that the Supreme Ct. will hear an appeal on the 9th Circuit Ct. of Appeals' decision on the pledge, and will use that appeal as a means of wiping away all of the falactious decisions of other courts, the interpretations of the "wall of separation" that have grown up over the course of the last 40 years, and will reassert precisely what the frounders meant in the First Amendment. In other words, I'm praying that this decision -- which appears a setback now -- will blow up in Mr. Nienow's face.

I also pray for the woman (who I just learned was never married to this hateful man), and for the daughter. He's ruining their lives, and nobody in authority seems to be worried about that.

He also claimed psychological damage to his child.

If his child is psychologically damanged, it's because they have this weirdo for a father.

While we're discussing wacko applications of "political correctness" I'd love to see FoxNews interview some of our national leaders who decided NOT to enforce the usual health regulations when AIDS became a national problem a few decades ago.

A good place to start is with David Horowitz's writings. He summarizes the problem and refers to his more comprehensive writings in this article. Here's an excerpt:

It was the gay left that successfully prevented reporting, testing, contact tracing and other public health methods that had been proven effective in combating epidemic diseases in the past. It was the gay left that blocked government prevention programs from targeting at-risk communities (using the same lie as the Times writer -- that "AIDS is an equal opportunity disease"), and it was the gay left that persuaded government officials instead to put all the anti-AIDS eggs in the basket of incredibly expensive and – as everyone can now see – completely ineffective "education" campaigns. These campaigns were ineffective because – out of considerations of political correctness – they did not specify anal sex as the primary sexual transmission route and were addressed not to those who were specifically at risk, but to "everyone," and thus in effect to no one.

the Judges on the 9th Circuit Court look like COMPLETE fools

They are fools. "The fool says in his heart there is no God..." -- Psalms 14:1

I do not want a Government so big as to schedule my time for religious or patriotic practices.

Do public schools have an obligation to teach children the nature of their government, the facts of its origin, the ideals upon which it was established, and then to engender within them an obligation of citizenship? That's in part what reciting the pledge does...it makes kids think about the meaning of the words: "republic," "one nation," "under God", "indivisible," "liberty," "justice," "for all." Are you truly opposed to this?

Well frankly, it doesn't really matter what he says he is. This man initially said that he brought this case because his daughter was being ridiculed for not saying the pledge. Then, when he got caught in a media firestorm, he said that it was for him, not his daughter and that he didn't want her to have to say it. Now we find out she wants to say it.

This guys is nothing short of a LIAR. And that's all I need to know about him.

Without a doubt!--deliberately warping a young mind for his own political agenda.

Reciting the pledge doesn't really teach them anything except the words to the pledge.... so yes, I am opposed to it.

There are other, less robotic, ways to teach the things on your list.

If he were in any other state but California, he wouldn't be practicing his profession after these revelations of lying. Now I see a man that I don't just disagree with but a man who is corrupt and unstable - not a man I would hire to work in an emergency room.

Don't look now, your prejudice is showing

The problem is he is not prejudiced against jews. Many jews like the large number of reformists here in NYC have been attacking christians by funding groups like the ACLU and People For The American Way for a long time. These are the same jews who used to send their kids to communist camps for summer vacation in upstate new york.

Why don't you excogitate on this "Hollyweird" stuff? Some of us may need a more concise explanation than what you are alluding to.

You know, my mom used to have me recite the Lord's Prayer each night when I was a little kid ("Our Father, who art in heaven, hollow be thy name...") I attended a wedding this weekend in which the Lord's Prayer was receited as part of the ceremony, and I realized that growing up, I used to think about the words of that prayer, and what they meant. I think this rote or "robotic" reciting of the Lord's Prayer enabled me, in my child-like way, to meditate on the nature of God and my obligation to God in regard to a relationship with Him. That rather mechanical way of reciting the Lord's prayer caused me to think as a child, and to eventually come to a conscious decision to make God a central part of my life.

I agree there are other ways to instill thoughts of our nation, and the obligations of citizenship, than having children recite the pledge. But it did me some good, and for probably 99% of kids, it does no harm.

>>Would it interfere with the right the Ninth Circuit said he has to determine the religious upbringing of his daughter?<<

He doesn't get to determine the religious upbringing of his child. The mother has "sole legal custody" of the girl which means that according to the court she is the one who gets to decide EVERYTHING on the girls behalf. The mother however lets the girl spend Jewish holidays with the dad because mom thinks it is important for the daughter to be aware of her heritage.

Seems dad is the only intolerant f**k in this picture.

Mr. Newdow is a liar who perpetrated a fraud. Unfortunately, his ex-girlfriend just hurt our case.

"Blaming them for destruction of the fiber of this country. You are an anti-semite. Deal with it."

I read your thoughts earlier, but had to go down in the nursery to water the groundcover. As I was listening to Rush (trashing Lie-berman with Enron truths), I felt I must come up to respond to your feelings.

If it makes you feel better to call me an anti-semite, I guess I have to read those words. But tell that to my wife of 28 years, a Jewish girl, tell that to my best friends in the Army Security Agency. Tell that to my best friends at Pitt , '64 tp '68, in the Economics Department (a department then that Thomas Sowell and Walter Williams-black by popular demand- would have been proud of). All these good people were and are Jewish.

Here is what I am trying to say, and I sincerely hope you understand this and perhaps give it some thought.

Over the past 25 years I, and many others, have come to some conclusions that there SEEMS to be a current in our country that is not serving the good of the Republic. I'm no genius, but I witness well. To many....the music industry, the movie industry, the left lamestream press, the education elite, etc. are groups whose effects are deliterious to the country. When I was watering outside awhile ago it was this thought that forced me up here to reply to you. To me, if all the young "fertile" minds of mush could hear the truth of things, we would have a better country and many more freepers, and Republicans. Unfortunately, there are these groups with tremendous powers of influence.........as I mentioned many of them before. Just take "The West Wing" for instance.

Now, I've got to go out and deal with this weather. I am only trying to say that those that have great control in these industries should serve our country better. Please. A little self-policing! Whoever they are. O.K. I must water. Peace.., and be well.

You blamed "The Chosen" for societies ills.

When you decided to make an issue, on more that one post, about how "The Chosen" deserve their fate as they have brought it upon themselves. You are not taking issue with liberals or hollywood or music that you disagree with - you are taking a stand agaist Jews. Your excuses are pathetic and fall far short of accepting the fact that you don't like jews, you think they deserve what they get for simply believing in their faith.

You can continue to kid yourself, but I will call you on it if you do it in public in front of me.

school setting aside time for this practice

Do you approve of the school setting aside a special room for gays or for Muslims to pray while denying the Boy Scouts? Which offends you more; allowing for time to say the pledge to our nation of our own FREE will or special treatment for some while denying the others?
