"We don't have any information that they are criminals or terrorists or anything of that nature," St. Mary Parish Sheriff Greg Champagne told WWL-TV.

Well, DUH! The fishing was reported to be good that day, and well, they wanted to get a head start on things.

Well, isn't that nice?

It's going to take a real disaster to make people wake up to the dangerous world around them. And even then, there will be people who will refuse to see the evidence spread before their very eyes.

One of the 4 Pakistani's who jumped ship in Virginia (?) a few months ago was found in Texas (San Antonio, I think) where his "uncle" lived. I haven't heard any reports of the whereabouts of the other 3.

Maybe these 4 in Louisiana were going to visit "uncle" too.

Investigators don't yet know why the men left the ship . . .

If I was a Pakistani seaman, I would also be tempted to jump ship, thus jumping to the head of the line of those waiting to immigrate to the U.S.A. The only way I can see to stop this is firm sanctions against employers of illegal aliens.

"It's never unusual to see them take a van or a taxi anywhere because they do it pretty regularly," Destrehan resident Troy Broussard said.

So the story is... There is no story! Wow!

Destrehan is in St. Charles Parish. St. Mary Parish is about a one and a half to two hour drive from St. Charles Parish. I wonder what a St. Mary Parish sheriff is doing involved in this case.

So we have Islamic crewmembers jumping ship and into taxis on a pretty regular basis. I wonder if anyone in Washington or the INS, etc. is aware of this. Anything in Houston that would be of interest to a terrorist?

Got it covered. My sister (In Orlando) called me today for an explanation about her friend in Pennsylvania who was receiving 'pills' for radiation poisioning. Are they handing out potassium iodine up there around the nuclear power plants?

I've got mine, and my 55 gallon drum of drinking water, plus spare food. Self-provided, don't live anywhere near a nuke. And Oh, yeah, don't forget to BLOAT.

Can you imagine being a Pakistani, never one drink in his life, never one bite of Cajun food or anything but hallal goat and mutton, getting within 100 miles or less of New Orleans!

Surely theyd make a try for it, even if they had to share the swamps with alligators etc.

I believe all the power plants are stockpiling them, but only a few have actually distributed to folks living within the 10 miles danger limit. Many people are buying their own, those who don't care to wait until the bureaucrats decide when the public should receive protection.

They have a few refineries in Louisana too.. Why do you think the tankers stopped there?
