...but his daughter was murdered in a most disgusting and dispicable manner
Actually, we don't know exactly in what manner Danielle Van Dam was murdered. In fact, according to the Medical Examiner and autopsy, its not even been determined that HOW Danielle died or if she was actually murdered.
Just because I and perhaps you, personally PRESUME Danielle was murdered, there is no factual evidence that she was as far as I can recall from testimony by the Medical Examiner. The manner of Danielle Van Dam's tragic death is still as yet unknown. I had hoped when this trial started and by now, her parents and the public would know the answers to these questions.
The prosecution promised a great deal in his opening statement. He has yet to deliver and considering the prosecution has RESTED, I don't see how the prosecution can deliver answers on what it promissed in its opening statements.

Apparently we aren't the only ones who have questions. One of the jurors sent a note to Judge Mudd asking when the jury would be able to question the witnesses. That tells me, things aren't 'adding up' for them either.

We know one thing my friend...the child's DNA was found on Westerfield's clothes, in his closet, and in various locations....We may never know exactly the cause of death in this case, because of the degree of degradation many times it is inconclusive, especially on a small child whose weight is substancially less then an adult's...sad but true!
