Newdow is a father who wants to be involved in his daughter's life. Whether the general public thinks he should be or not isn't the point. Newdow's atheism never stopped this mother from accepting child care payments.

Hmmm... Where are the Father's Rights people now? I guess "father's rights" only apply when the father believes in an imaginary omnipotent being, huh?

I think you're mixing apples with oranges. He is involved in his daughter's life but this lawsuit has nothing to do with his daughter. He's using his daughter to further his own agenda. The lawsuit, as stated by Newdow, is just for his own purposes. Fathers should have rights with their children. This case has no bearing on Fathers Rights.

Supporting a lier and someone who would use his daughter to further his personal agenda isn't going to help support fathers' rights one bit no matter what he believes.

Newdow is a father who wants to be involved in his daughter's life.

Is that why he doesn't live with her? Did he tell you this himself or are you simply surmising?

Whether the general public thinks he should be or not isn't the point. Newdow's atheism never stopped this mother from accepting child care payments.

Why should it? Even if she loathes the ground he walks on she has every right to demand he support the child he fathered.

Does Newdow's atheism prevent him from handling the filthy green stuff which proclaims "In God We Trust"? I think not.

Hmmm... Where are the Father's Rights people now?

Right here. I'm in favor of Father's Rights. I'm also in favor of "one nation under God"

I guess "father's rights" only apply when the father believes in an imaginary omnipotent being, huh?

Nobody is saying he didn't have a right to bring the lawsuit. He has a right, nay a duty to act in the child's best interests. It's just that nobody believes that this is his primary motivation.

"Where are the Father's Rights people now?"

The man sired a kid, for sure. As a father, he fails miserably to qualify.

BTW, belief has very little or nothing to do with Newdow's financial responsibility to his daughter.
