I'm really enjoying the confab between you and Dimensio (sp?). I'm learning a lot, but it's also making my hair hurt.
I've always lacked the intellect to be able to rule evolution totally out or totally in. I do believe in God, but I don't presume to know what his creative capacity or proclivity is. And I certainly cannot put my faith in interpreters of the Word. Most especially as they interpret in a language twice removed from the orginal text. My total lack of faith in their intellect spans the entire denominational network.

From the Christian standpoint, Ive always felt that the truth is inside us all. It was put there by our author and it is up to us to find it for ourselves.

Most especially as they interpret in a language twice removed from the orginal text. What do you mean by "twice removed"?

Would you rather have someone translate the
Hebrew,
Babylonian,
Aramaic and
Greek for you
that was a
Muslim,
Hindu,
Bhuddist,
Wiccan,
Animist,
Astrologer,
Agnostic, or
Atheist?
Just what mechanism would you have in place to keep THEIR bias' from creeping in?
