Well, I'm no expert (and these 2 gentlemen are), however:

As a wise man once said: "Even a stopped clock is right twice a day". There are some who have built up careers by being bears. At all times. No matter what. They looked foolish during the 1990's. Now they look wise.

There are others who have made careers out of being bulls. They looked wise during the 1990's. Now they look like fools.

Past performance is no guarantee of future performance. The stock market is like a box of chocolates: you never know what you might get.
