HA! The poor, dumb bastards. If only they didn't make it so easy to hate them.

It must suck to be short. Not at all -- I never hit my head on anything.

Actually "I Love LA" in my view was his best hit to date,
though I understand this has nothing to do with the thread
like "short people".

Yet, this particular one has a Nostradamus like quality...:)
Political Science
No one likes us - I don't know why
We may not be perfect, but heaven knows we try
But all around even our old friends put us down
Let's drop the big one and see what happens
We give them money - But are they grateful
No, they're spiteful and they're hateful
They don't respect us - so let's surprise them
We'll drop the big one and pulverize them
Asia's crowded and Europe's too old
Africa is far too hot
And Canada is too cold
And South America stole our name
Let's drop the big one
There'll be no one to blame us
We'll save Australia
Don't wanna hurt no kangaroo
We'll build an all American amusement park there
They got surfing too
Boom goes London and boom Paree
More room for you and more room for me
And every city the whole world round
Will just be another American town
Oh how peaceful it will be
We'll set everybody free
You'll wear a Japanese kimono
And there'll be Italian shoes for me
They all hate us any how
So let's drop the big one now
Let's drop the big one now

I'm that height. It is just where I want to be too. As a tree planter, I never had the back trouble the tall boys did. In fact, I never had a bit of back pain ever, and was never bested physically by anyone more then an inch or so taller in any scrap.
Tall is overrated. I would rather be stocky and at the perfect height of five foot six inches then be handicapped by too much physical stature. Tall guys do make a satisfying splat when toppled, but that's it. ;-)

As my 5' 6" father (God rest his soul) used to say, "Son, just remember; you bend over more in life than you reach up."The problem is, I seem to be bending over just a little too much lately.

Actually, being short has its advantages. When I dance slow with tall women, I'm not dancing "cheek to cheek" if you know what I mean.
I had a kid in my squad that was 6'7 3/4"s tall, and when he dug a hole I was safe until it started to rain, and then I'd have to ask him to lift me out of it.
