1. Not conservative enough I would like to see him take a stand more often. But I realize he didn't exactly arrive in office with a mandate and he campaigned as a Moderate and that = Compromise and considering he is the President of all the people, not just me, I can live with his decisions so far.

2. Not pro-life Buffalo Dung, He is the most "Pro Life" President since Roe-v-Wade became law

3. Is a gun-grabber Horse Hockey

4. Is a federal power-grabber His proposals have been for states rights

5. Will appoint liberal judges When Pigs fly

6. Is a globalist Just more slander from the Nattering Nabobs

7. Is in it just for oil Leftist Drivel

8. Is too soft on immigration So far he is the first President in my life to propose and enact restrictions, and yet nobody gives him credit. The all or nothing crowd wants him "necklaced" for "supposedly" thinking of amnesty (A NYT's divide and Conquer plot)

9 Is too soft (or too hard) on Israel As Israel has stated! they almost made him an honorary member of the Lachoud(sp)? Party because of his Moral clarity on his willingness to tell it like it is on the Palestinian situation

10. Is a crook Probably the most trustworthy President in decades

11. All of the above Place the crackpipe on the desk and slowly back away from the keyboard

12. None of the above He needs improvement on #8 but he inherited the mess

13. Other (you name it) Back in December of 2000, this country almost become a Bananna Republic when Al (count-em-again) Gore attempted to steal the presidential election, with the help of his Lawyers and his eneblers in the Press. With the country divided as it was just 18 moths ago. I think we have witnessed the most rapid and dramatic change in public opinion of a President in our nations history.

When George W. Bush took the oath of office, not too many people thought he would be much, they said he could forget about his "Huge" tax cut, they said he wouldn't be respected on the world stage, they said he wouldn't be able to get us out of the ABM treaty without another arms race with Russia. They said he didn't have much of a personality and of coarse they told us how stupid he was. Not only has he been "misunderestimated" but he has outsmarted them at every turn. In a short 17 months he has done more to change the direction of this country than Reagan did his first 5 years. Not to mention he's one helluvagood wartime President.

I will now slip into my Nomex Jammies for the scorching I'm gonna recieve from the unnapeasables and malcontents :-)

This thread has served its purpose. It was a challenge for the dump Bush crowd to give a viable alternative beyond let the "democrats have it". Once again the challenge was not met. It proves that there are many that can state a problem but few that can pose a solution.

I agree with you on all counts.

What I find unfortunate is the fact that most stands or decisions Bush makes for conservative issues are not broadcast on the news media. Every issue that could make him appear doubleminded or caving to the Dems is constantly shown nightly as though it were real news.

It is so frustrating that the majority of my information I have come to find on the internet and Freerepublic.

For all of the third party folks, I can't understand how they could expect any different behaviour when it's most of the players now changing their party affiliation just to get elected. Doesn't mean their politics have changed just that they're willing to do whatever means necessary to accomplish their agenda or timetable.

President Bush is the best thing that America has for this time. You bet I'll vote for him again. Look at the alternatives.

Please post links to his proposed and enacted restrictions.

Excellent post, MJY! I pretty much agree with everything you've stated. I would like to see him tougher on immigration, but that would not be the one thing to make me not vote for him.

With complete sincerity, I can state that I do not work for the NYT.

With as much sincerity, I can tell you that you are mistaken about President Bush's attempted Amnesty, and that you should read this.
