What makes you think IF( and its a big if) the Republicans ever get total control they will really dismantle socialism. The fact that Bush has not exercised his veto power over so much of the socialistic crap that has passed this year makes me very pessimistic of that.

Because I do not believe that Republicans are as soft as they are made out to be anymore than I believe the majority of the legal population would prefer to be on the socialist dole .

It simply comes down to us as citizens who do vote to make solid informed choices , and to not settle for . There are a good # of people out there . Hell just on this thread alone !
