President Bush pitched his proposed cabinet-level of homeland security today to federal workers gathered at the DAR Constitution Hall in Washington today. Bush took the opportunity to thank federal workers for their hard work, especially after September 11th. Enjoy your daily dose of Dubya!

Time to send nasty grams to Cnn. They had a picture of President Bush in front of a stock market graph with the index line on it tanking. They never mentioned the President by name but never the less their message to their viewer was obvious.

DAR Constitution Hall holds several thousand people. That's a lot of government workers who saw President Bush face to face. It's so tough for him to get through the media spin filter, I'm glad he's using large venues.

Ignoring them is the best strategy and that's what a lot of their former viewers are doing since Fox News came along.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY GUIDO!! YOU GO GIRL!! The news today was totally depressing. The rats and the press are doing a full court press on Bush and Cheney. Our newspaper had 3 articles about W today. These are the headlines: Bush Takes On Corporate Fraud; Experts Say Reforms Are Meaningless; Investors Give Bush A Thumbs Down.
I hate the rats with a passion for their dishonesty and evil at trying to take this man down. I am afraid it may work this time. I'm PMSing again so perhaps I am being overally sensitive but I tell ya, the press on W is horrible. I can barely take it. Politics is the most disgusting profession in the world, thanks to bill clinton, who, no doubt, is behind this whole thing. Aaaaargghhhh!

""take no sh*t"
You must mean take no stuff (remember the president's news conference--"the same old stuff", said the president) and every one knew what he meant. Yeah Bushie!!!

11You have turned for me my mourning into dancing;I do so love David's songs!
This verse captures what God did for us when George W. Bush was elected, and the debauched one finally left Washington (albeit noisily, and with quite a bit of government property).
Thank you for your faithfulness in posting these daily FWI!!

As promised here are your shopping links for Texas White House t-shirts and souvenirs. I'm sorry, I can't remember which of you asked for this information. I like this first website because you can download pictures and wallpaper while you're shopping. Some of the photos are a hoot so be sure to check them out. Crawford Store
And here's the local Fina station's website with more t-shirts. Yes, I know, most people don't go to the Fina station to shop. You can't go wrong with these people. They are honest as the day is long. Crawford Fina Station Happy shopping all!

Gosh it has been a long time since I have done that. I have a lady that comes once a week to clean my house and I suspect she does very little cleaning but my toilets and showers and kitchen sink are clean. Makes me happy!!

Your welcome, If you look at the history of this thread you will see that most of us here are true supporters of the President and we understand he can not do everything we want him to. We voice our concernns with the people who can actually do something about them.. OUR SENATORS and CONGRESSMAN. Most of us see no reason to come to this thread and trash our Commander-in-Chief becuase this is a refuge from the unnapeasables who will never be satisfied.
rintense has been faithfully posting this thread for 18 months and I can never thank her enough for her unwaivering support for our President. Please continue to visit, it's a great daily thread :-)
Once Again,
Welcome Aboard

That CNN picture ticked me off. Yesterday I was taking this all in stride as the Dems' latest "throw it at W and see if it will stick" ploy, but today it's looking a bit more organized than that.

Thank you so very much for all the days you "ping" me. I had forgotten to THANK YOU and to say how much I wait for the alert each night. I guess I would never get here by myself!
Happy Birthday GUIDO, it is a great month to be born!

It is definitely more organized and I don't think the GOP is responding effectively. I don't think this is like the Enron story. Carville and Clinton are written all over it and it makes me so bloody SICK!!

I plan to be out of town and PC-less from Thursday afternoon through Sunday night or Monday, so in case anyone wonders at my absence, please know I'll be thinking about you all despite having checked out of my cyberspace niche.
I'll be here tonight, though. Like it or not!

Keep the faith, Babe! I think (and hope and pray) that people are seriously tired of this character assassination game that is Carville and Clinton's MO. The media are nothing but Democrat whores, and we must not stop or let down. Keep sending those e-mails and letters, keep asking any Dems what their ideas are, and keep pinning them to wall.
Like GW, be patient and beat the crap out of them!

I missed the chat session. I weighed myself and since we started, I've lost 7 pounds!
Sorry I missed the session - I was out playing golf with my 10 year old son in 100 degree heat. Call us crazy cuz we are!
