Pasadena is in Southern California, near Los Angeles. It is very far from Sacramento and San Francisco. I don't think there's an East Bay in Southern California.
HOUSTON (Reuters) - Refineries on Houston's ship channel have tightened up post-Sept. 11 security measures after authorities received an unconfirmed threat of an attack -- against non-existent refineries 1,500 miles away, officials said on Wednesday.
The bizarre circumstances that led to the stringent security measures is a tale of two cities: Pasadena, California and Pasadena, Texas. The initial threat, received over the weekend, specified a planned July 12 attack on oil refineries in Pasadena, California, the Federal Bureau of Investigation said on Wednesday.
