Why have no media reported that Peres granddaughter was in the area?
To: Ernest_at_the_Beach
It was reported, but no one (up until now) had suggested it was an assassination attempt on her.

would undergo a major redesign that would require all incoming passengers to go through security screening at a remote site before taking trains to the terminals. The changes will cost $9.6 billion to install and implement. So any terrorists will attack the crowds there. This, despite serious competition, is perhaps the dumbest way to spend $10B that I have every seen.
Look, folks, by definition anywhere you put a security checkpoint you will have a line of people waiting to be checked through. All moving the checkpoint will do is protect the building. While perhaps a good idea, I doubt it's worth $10B.

"As an Arab, he ought to know if you want to maximize your kill you dont singlehandedly go to the El-Al ticket counter during a week of high alert. DUH?"
Maybe he wasn't seeking to maximise the body count but eliminate a specific target. Assassination.
Now why would our F.B.I. cover up the terrorist attack at LAX on July 4th, 2002? ^

The wife has a new car, the kids education at the finest islamic universities is being funded by the Saudis, and his praises are being sung to the high heavens by the twisted mullahs.
Sure this whole case is circumstantial, but there's a lot of circumstances.
Of course, if he really wanted a high body count, any US carrier airline counter would have yielded up a bloodier bounty, including probably a large number of jewish people as well. But he went to ELAl.
Pere's daughter there is one hell of a coincidence too.

Peres's daughter or granddaughter? Note that this article says daughter, something I have not seen claimed before. Probably a slip.

First I heard of her being at the airport. That's probably why Peres was one of the first Israelis to speak out about it. What I wanna know is how did this slimeball know she was there?
To: Ernest_at_the_Beach
I'd like to know if Peres' granddaughter was accompanied by Israeli or USSS bodyguards or was she traveling incognito and unguarded. Seems to me she would be high-risk as a target for death or kidnapping/hostage taking.
If she had protection, what did any bodyguards do doing the attack? If she didn't, what did SHE do during the attack?
Just trying to put all bits and pieces together. Was her presence there at LAX known to the US or not?
I could go on.
