12:57PM Halliburton responds to Judicial Watch lawsuit (HAL) by Michael Baron Halliburton (HAL) is off 30 cents, or 2.1 percent, to $13.82, in midday action. The company is out with a press release responding to a lawsuit filed by Judicial Watch, a Washington, D.C.-based legal watchdog group. The suit alleges fraudulent accounting practices at Halliburton took place during the period when current vice president Dick Cheney served as its chairman and CEO. Halliburton called the claims in the suit, "untrue, unsupported, and unfounded." The company continued: "We are working diligently with the SEC to resolve its questions regarding the company's accounting procedures. Halliburton has always followed and will continue to follow guidelines established by the SEC and GAAP, General Accepted Accounting Principles."

WoW! I am really impressed with your post.

All I stated was that the people who work at Judicial Watch have integrity and principle, which was very appropriate given that people were calling the organization a criminal enterprise, which insinuated that the people who work there are crooks. That was an unfair label from the start and I called you guys on it.

You think after todays outburst she would? It takes integrity to admit you've conned and say "enough" to a huckster. It is noble to walk away from such people, not stand beside them, or had you forgotten the lessons of the Dems rallying around Clinton upon his impeachment? Was that a sign of integrity as well?

HAHAHAHAH..um Okaaaaaaaaaaaaaay...if you say soooo..hehehehe...

The most danger Larry is in is from getting a punch in the nose from an aggravated Republican. Myself, I would like to give him a pie in the face as he appears live on CNN. Alas, I do not have the resources to do that.
So, although Larry thinks that Cheney should be impeached because of his Halliburton "transgression," you are saying that it has nothing to do with Halliburton and Cheney?
I am sorry. I must be obtuse. I thought that was exactly what we were talking about.
So, is Cheney the defacto presidient or not?

Really, unfair you say.... is that what your buds at the watch told you to say?

Did it ever occur to you that not every client of AA may have sought a corrupt audit to which AA acquiesced? How many clients did AA have? Surely you can do better than this non sequitor as you try to effect going about doing a McCarthyite number on Cheney. McCarthy comes to mind because I am reading about him in Robert Caro's book on LBJ's senate years, and I see parallels.

It takes integrity to not slander someone's name before all the evidence has come out in court. Ann Coulter is intelligent enough to understand that and I believe that she would be fair enough to hear Judicial Watch's case first, before she blows them off.

No one tells me to say anything. I will stand up against unfairness when I see it.
To: FreedominJesusChrist
I highly doubt that is trueAnd you are also sure that the people at JW are very nice.
Yippee.
To: Howlin
Oh, I thought it had been freeped ex post facto.

Yes, I think that we also need to start praying for the people at Judicial Watch and for their safety. There are some pretty scary people out there, who become especially scary when their power is threatened. You know, that's a really good point.
But Larry never got Arkancided when he was going after Clinton.
Maybe Clinton never regarded Judicial Watch as a real threat?
hmmmmmmmmm......

Unless something changes in the outcome of the normal JW law suit, I don't think the VP has much to worry about. I'd really put my money on the VP's lawyers and friends not the folks over at the watch and their posting buds.

My opinion on whether or not Dick Cheney is a de facto president has nothing to do with Halliburton and Judicial Watch. But wasn't it Judicial Watch (Larry Klaymer) who you are agreeing with in this? No? Am I wrong?
To: FreedominJesusChrist
It takes integrity to not slander someone's name before all the evidence has come out in courtI just HAVE to ask you this one last thing: in light of the things that Klayman has been saying these last few days, are you admitting that Larry Klayman has no integrity?

Some suggest that it was the dress my dear. That was no doubt unfair. It is kind of like alleging that Clinton killed Ron Brown.

Larry Klayman and the staff of Judicial Watch have always possessed the virtue of integrity in my eyes.

Your mom works there, doesn't she?
