And what, praytell, is this? If this evidence does not fall under the exclusionary rule (and it doesn't), then submission of any evidence is the judge's decision, not yours.

That is why I put evidence in quotes. He never has any. GET IT?

Me: So Cheney was in bed with a corrupt and fraudulent accounting firm since 1996? I wonder if he made any money out of the association?

You: Yeah and so was 99% of the country's corporations PLUS the United States Government. What the hell is your point?

My point is that, given your statement, virtually all of our country's corporations and our government provide lies and fraud as truth to the nation. What should the fate of these officials be?

Have you even read the suit, or the significant section concerning Arthur Anderson?

I am sure that the SEC and the Justice Department may be looking into that.

"This case is too important for Larry to mess it up. I think that he realizes this too."

Read that back to yourself, I know I'm still laughing.

I'm still waiting to hear what "fraudulent practices" we're talking about.

"It is also my firm belief that in later years they employed a few people who decided they could be bought for a price and climbed into bed with a few unscrupulous CEO's and CFO's and engaged in criminal activity including fraud."

That may be the case, that may not. Then why do you believe the Justice Department took the entire firm to task, instead of the few corrupt ones?

This move on the DOJ's part is what is going to cause the entire company to go out of business.

A lot of people in Illinois are employed by Arthur Anderson and are angry at this move. Although I cannot say this was the wrong move on the DOJ's part.

OK .. then why does Larry think it is his job to investigate Halliburton .. Why not let the SEC and the DOJ do their job

He is on a witch hunt for Cheney .. so the question is .. who is supporting him

Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm ... care to take a guess

The suit is NOT about AA but Larry thinks it is. This is NOT AA accounting practice this is about how Halliburton and every large EPC contractor books project changes. AA and its "accounting practices" are irrelevant especially in regard to Halliburton.

Do you have proof of any fraudulent practices by Halliburton in 1996?

Hey, I can't even prove that Clinton knows what 'is' means.

Hmmm...Why is Larry taking the entire firm of Halliburton to task instead of just those he suspects of being corrupt?

Using your logic, I'd guess there will be a few employees at Halliburton that will see their net worth decline next time they open their 401(k) statements.

Therefore, Larry should not have filed this suit in the manner in which he did.

Using your logic, of course.

1. Then where was the SEC before now? They are supposed to be monitoring this type of stuff. The SEC is supposed to cases to the Attorney General to prosecute in court. Up until Klayman's announcement, both the SEC and the DOJ were pretty silent. Good thing Larry came along.

2. These people (shareholders) have a legal right to sue, are you going to deny them this right?

Look at the list of defendants in the complaint, Halliburton is there.
