Disgusting !
From what I've seen, some gays-like some drug users-try to gain public acceptance by claiming they are part of a vast underground, and therefore very close to being the norm.

First time I've seen it, thanks for the posting.
This Fay guy knows that he can make these false claims and the media will repeat it over and over, regardless of the truth. It goes to show you that they can not stand on their own agenda and need to co-opt somebody's memory in order to gain some legitimacy. Unfortunately, our media plays right along with these disgusting games.

Hey face it Mychal Judge was gay ---
Just check out his activities at Dignity in NY and just ask the guys at the fire station he where he was a chaplain -- I do recall seeing and hearing myself the fire station cheif talking about Judge comming out to him and some other guys and they were "so accepting because he was such a good chaplain"....he went on about how these macho firemen diddn't mind a gay chaplain and that was unique....

The people who used this man's death should be held accountable. I wish I knew how to do that.

Most of all, Father Mike would care not that you remember him, but that you remember and live the Prayer of St. Francis.
Prayer of Saint Francis of Assisi
Lord, make us instruments of your peace. Where there is hatred let us sow love; Where there is injury, pardon; Where there is discord, union; Where there is doubt, faith; Where there is despair, hope; Where there is darkness, light; Where there is sadness, joy. Grant that we may not so much seek To be consoled as to console; To be understood as to understand; To be loved as to love. For it is in giving that we receive; It is in pardoning that we are pardoned; And it is in dying that we are born to eternal life. Amen

Yet, in newspapers immediately after the funeral mass, Brendan Fay was quoted saying that Father Mike was a homosexual. Fay arranged a media event where many people spoke of Father Mike's concern for the homosexual community and claimed Father Mike was "gay." This was news to me, and I knew Father Mike for nearly a decade. This is a very sad story. For Brendan Fay to spread this story around and for the media to pick it up without any proof is an injustice to Father Mike.
