I think they should clean their own house first.

Maybe WE could start by bulldozing down every IRS building in the country. That's my idea of a clean up.

You wonder why the Repubs never use their position in this way simply to enforce the laws (not calling for some sort of Clintonesque misuse of IRS investigations)?

Not ONLY should the NEA be investigated by the IRS, but by the FBI for the charge of treason against the people of United States of America...

The case is overwhelming.

Don't forget, the NEA just lost a major case in Washington State in which they were fined $800,000 for misusing dues for political purposes. This would seem ample justification for an IRS audit.

Like the IRS doesn't have enough to do with the major corporate litigation resulting from Enron and WorldCom. Maybe the NEA will serve as a pleasant distraction. 11 posted on 7/10/02 2:07 AM Pacific by 135steward [ Post Reply

Harry Browne had a campaign ad with this theme.

"It's easier for the IRS to destroy the little guys. When it comes to the big guys, it's too much work. "

And, everyone know that the NEA is just a bunch of misunderstood, good ol' boys, right. Pass the billy beer, bud.

You and Carrie Okie both beat me, but thank the good Lord we are all on the same wave length. Let's send some of those NEA to jail.

Let's not stop with investigating how they use their money; let's also take a look at how they use their time in the name of "education".

I posted this at our school district forum for parents and educators, and no one has responsed. Silence is certainly golden!

Me, too. I worked at NEA in early 80's. Bigger bunch of gangsters and commies have never walked the planet.
