[history]
Swinging, the practice of swapping romantic partners, has had a makeover.
Gone are the big-hair, gold-chain '70s-style swingers who gathered in suburban tract homes. Today's energetic couplings have made their way into mainstream resorts and upscale commercial venues.
"There are people who see the market potential and are opening clubs and agencies to cater to the lifestyle," said Tony Lanzaratta, a former Los Angeles police officer who is executive director of NASCA, a national organization of swingers. "The lifestyle tour and travel industry has more than tripled in the last five years."

Neat, I still get to spend the $80 again tomorrow....probably on my own sweet love. Amen, brother. Preach it!

We have talked about the problems in our Churches on other threads. Notice that Camrod who advocates parents deflowering their children is a youth pastor.

Sodom and Gomorrah Discussion Ping. Happening in the United States.
I'm reminded of something Dr. J. Vernon McGee said in one of his Thru The Bible radio program lessons: "The so-called 'new morality' is nothing other than 'old sin.'"
TTB is a terrific program if you haven't heard of it, btw...

Well said. I would like to see the stats on divorce for these wonderfully enlightened folks. The main argument is how much it helps their marriages. Would love to see if the stats back that up. As if any normal man would fill up with love and respect for his wife as other men were madly bonking her to oblivion...

"Sodom and Gomorrah Discussion Ping."I don't think we need to go that far back for a precedent. This whole spousal swap-meet culture suggests the French court in the eighteenth century, portrayed well in les Liaisons Dangereuses. The political question is this: will the decadence of our ruling class precede a violent backlash? It certainly did in France, and later in Weimar Germany.
To: Goetz_von_Berlichingen
The upper class which is decadent( Im a libertarian and a libertine myself they ain't bad people really Im fairly well connected with them but Im not rich YET my family would be described best as Upper Middle) is not the same as our ruling media elite( which through the mob they control runs the country). The upper class by the late 60's lost nearly all political influence there was a brief resurgence of upper class political influence under Reagan. Their loss of control of the political system definitely speeded up our slide into socialism. Im not sure the rest of the country cares much about the personal habits of the Upper Class. I'd like your opinion.
