She didn't SAY angry, she said upset. Upset does not equal angry or mean or abusive.

Right, I didn't write angry..and would have been ''upset'' if I had. I interpreted the upset as "sad".. but it doesn't mean he wouldn't mean either. Frankly, withdrawing emotionaly and socially while "partying" is mean if ya think about it.
