What do you think about the recent news that BRenda has just moved into a new $850,000 home ?
I am disquieted by it. It would appear to be consistent with her garrish and boorish behavior as testified by Dad's patrons. I can also fully understand her not wanting to look at Danielle's empty room. A mother who lost her daughter is going to do some irrational outlandish things. I am not sure Brenda Van Dam has gone through all the stages in the grieving process yet. I also am inclined to think that its possible, Brenda Van Dam is still getting advice from her Publuc Relations advisors. My own opinion of California Public Relations people is something I will not state in mixed company. Suffice it to say, I don't think highly of the profession.

This guy was hired by the SDPD/prosecutor? Why didn't Dusek call him as a witness? If I were a juror, I'd be very suspicious. This guy sounds a bit nervous.

"Geeze, leave the man alone. Maybe he thinks about all his faults, and how he messed up his life with divorces and all. That would upset anybody. At least he seems to HAVE a sense of shame, and he wasn't getting drunk and loaded and inviting the whole bar home."...I think you're right on that one. Alcohol is small quantities is a stimulant (people talk more, loosen up) and in large quantities is a sedative (people pass out, etc.) DW got reflective when he drank. The VD's are partiers. They may be more fun to drink with but I think you'd learn more from DW. I'd rather be drinking with his type.

I have three children, and a husband to pack for, not to mention getting all the animals to a kennel. I am going to have to take my chances. I have led a wholesome, upstanding life....I think.

maggots eat and then molt and then eat again...when maximum size of larvae is reached, it moves away from the host

"Now my husband is in REAL trouble...we do that all the time........(no laundry shoot)"...if you guys shoot the laundry, he may well be in real trouble. I take it you meant "chute".
To: gigi
Do you REALLY want to be saying you are "like" Brenda?
To: Jaded
Eew. Do you have to say things like "squish" and "mash" when we're talking about bugs?
To: bolthead; Henrietta
*Henrietta, The first part, #1 - 9...states the accusations..known information. The special notes are just comments, but not meant to be represented as facts so I can modify that title to reflect it. P. Henry's post can be used for what you suggested for sure, rubutted by defense, then countered by prosecution's side. That's a good idea Henrietta. It's not actually "old" info, it's info that the jury has to use, correct? So...I'll update that with the rebuttles etc. from various resources before I post it again. (using posts, testimony etc)
*bolthead (your handle cracks me up) yes, the prosecution has rested, but they can call rebuttle witnesses after the defense rests..if it's important to their case...the purpose is to clear up potential confusion caused by defense, and counter damage or misleading info/statements etc by the defense...the closing statements are important too.
You said: "by this point in the case I would expect to know: (1) When and how that person kidnapped the victim.
(2) When and how that person murdered the victim.
(3) When and how that person disposed of the body. "
Just know, at risk of being misunderstood, I'm not being sarcastic at all. I don't think it's that simple in every case....if that were true, we wouldn't need a jury system would we? I know I've said this before, but what about those cases in which a body was never found, but the defendant got convicted? I don't think it's too late for the prosecution to connect some of the pieces together..

I'm not getting most of this folks....will post what I can and the highlights...feel free to take over anyone.

It means Benda is stupid. California is a community property state, No ? Cal is a CP state. Anything BvD bought will be automatically CP unless she can prove a source of funds that is separate property (like an inheritance). Doesn't matter whose name is on the title, either. Rebuttable presumption that any property acquired during marriage is CP. So The Demon has a new house, too, looks like!
