Just making a joke!
As in can't all stay at home moms afford to buy and house and car like that. She doesn't even want to seem to be a grieving parent. If it were one of my son's that died, buying a new house and car at this time during a trial would be farthest from my mind. How does someone with no visable means of support get such a house and car?
