I'm grateful that we have black citizens like Thomas Sowell, Clarence Thomas, Walter Williams, Condi Rice, the Rev Jesse Peterson, and even Colin "On the Other Hand" Powell. It is my sense that a strong black middle class is emerging to take their rightful place in the governing of the Nation. Black conservative leaders are having a positive impact to balance the race baiters and some of the more immature athletes. Now if we, white and black, can get a handle on out-of-wedlock birth rates and reintroduce the idea of accountability then we have a chance to pull back from the brink of cultural suicide.

I believe that the reason that the Reverend Martin Luther King was killed was because he was a good man, flawed perhaps like all of us, but still a good man. A lot of people believed him when he said that all he wanted was true equality and not more than others. He was effective and he was getting things done for all mankind. That's why he was killed.
