I think it's racist to move to a new country and expect the inhabitants to adapt to the culture you bring with you. They used to call it imperialism.

Someone put it very well on another thread:

People come to the United States because they seek more opportunity than is available in their home country.

The US has more opportunity because of American Culture, Western Values, and Capitalism.

The countries that they flee from have less opportunity and freedom ultimately because of their cultures.

Immigrants who do not want to adopt to the American Culture somehow cannot see the connection between culture and success, freedom, and opportunity.
