Mexicans Say Southwest U.S. Belongs to Them; Shouldn't Need Permission to Enter U.S.
Americans for Immigration Control, Inc ^ | June 11, 2002 | Robert Goldsborough

Americans and Mexicans have widely divergent views of border issues, according to a new poll by Zogby International.

Zogby found that a large majority of the Mexican population believes the southwest territory of the U.S. rightfully belongs to Mexico, and that Mexicans should have the right to enter the U.S. without first obtaining U.S. permission.

By contrast, Zogby's survey of Americans conducted within a few days of the Mexican poll shows a large majority supports reducing immigration levels and wants the military deployed along the border to protect the U.S. from illegal immigration.

Zogby's poll found that 58 percent of Mexicans agree with the statement, "the territory of the United States' Southwest rightfully belongs to Mexico." Only 28 percent disagree, and 14 percent are unsure.

A similar majority, 57 percent, agree with the statement, "Mexicans should have the right to enter the U.S. without U.S. permission," while 35 percent disagree. Seven percent are unsure.

The survey has a margin of error of 3.5 percent. The Mexico portion of the survey was conducted in Spanish between May 25 and May 26 among 801 adults chosen at random throughout Mexico. The poll was commissioned by Americans for Immigration Control, Inc. (AIC), which advocates increased restrictions on immigration.

"There is obviously a large and significant gap between the attitudes of Americans and Mexicans," said Robert Goldsborough, AIC president. "While most Americans want immigration reduced, most Mexicans think they don't even need permission to enter our country. The poll clearly shows there is less common ground for immigration negotiations between Mexico and the U.S. than the leaders think. Support for a porous border and a loose migration policy occurs only on the Mexican side, not in the U.S."

Zogby's survey of American attitudes found wide majorities of Americans also oppose amnesty for illegal aliens. The U.S. portion of the survey was conducted of 1,015 likely voters in the U.S. from May 28 to May 30. It found that 65 percent disagree with the statement, "foreigners residing illegally in the U.S. should be given amnesty." Just 26 percent of likely voters support amnesty for illegals, while 9 percent are unsure.

A large majority, 58 percent, agree that the U.S. should "admit fewer immigrants each year." Only 6 percent want "more immigrants each year," and 30 percent want to "keep immigration at the current annual levels."

The single largest majority in the entire poll was found among Americans supporting use of the military to guard the border. Fully 68 percent of those surveyed agree with the statement, "the U.S. should deploy military troops on the border as a temporary measure to help the U.S. Border Patrol curb illegal immigration." Only 28 percent disagree, and 3 percent are unsure.

Exactly. They will take over the region slowly and one morning your children will wake up and there will be no local wielders of authority who are not supporters of Mexico. They will vote in Mexican elections, allow Mexicans to cross the border without recrimination and eventually band together politically to secede from the USA.

There are gringo Marxists who regularly rally with immigrant shills at the U.N. Plaza in San Francisco to petition the U.N. to enforce the "right" of all American Indians to freely migrate wherever they want to, supposedly to follow the buffalo herds. Not suprisingly, these Marxists hold the same views as the Libertarians do.

And most importantly, "Liberal" politicians must be defeated at the polls and removed from positions of power.

In a Nation of idiots, who will do this?

The reaction of the American people to the September 11 Massacre startled the world.

America's enemies, who had designs on America and who had been tempted by America's weakness, had second thoughts.

The tempting weakness was America's evident decadence, manifested mainly as "Liberalism", but shockingly paraded before the world throughout the 1990's in an array of ways, including the election twice of a psychopathic man to the presidency of the U.S. and the widespread applause by many Americans of his antics, which included purjury, rape, wag-the-dog bombing et al.

The Chinese notably appraised the U.S. as in hopeless decline (and if anyone knows the signs of decadence from grim experience it's the Chinese). With characteristic patience and caution, however, they withheld overt action.

Muslim extremists, however, unencumbered by such considerations as patience, caution, and Chinese cunning, appraised the U.S. as sufficiently ripe with decadence, and the September 11 Massacre was the result.

Decadence ("Liberalism") has suffused much of the U.S. The "Liberal" enclaves, the Democrat Party, "Liberals" everywhere, notably in academia and the newsmedia, are diseased with it.

However, the American Heartland is healthy. The American spirit and genius florish there. The promise of the American dream is still alive. The Heartland is still in ascendancy. George W. Bush is its quintessence.

There is a struggle going on for the soul and the future of America--and the future of the world as well.

If the Heartland wins, the American dream will live. It will spread throughout the world.

If "Liberals" win, the U.S. will fall. The American Dream will come to an end.

America's enemies are aware of all this. They are still watching. Obviously, they are hoping that "Liberals" will prevail and America will fall.

Ambitious Mexicans are a part of this.

Those who hope for the establishment of Aztlan are hoping for a "victory" of "Liberalism" over the Heartland.

The final outcome of this struggle is still not known. America's enemies, including ambitious Mexican politicians, Chinese adventurers, and Muslim extremists know this. They are watching to see which way America goes. They have not abandoned their ambitions.

The only hope for America is the defeat of "Liberals" and "Liberalism". Everything--the future of the world--depends on this.

"We dare not tempt them with weakness."
--John Kennedy

I find it very disturbing that this story is not satire.

I also find it disturbing that such attitudes have infected society to the point where many don't realise that I'm being intentionally ironic when I "decry" the plight of illegal immigrants who are treated as though they are criminals.

This sounds like the Israel/Palestine situation.

We should start working on that wall now...

"Of course if they had the SW US they would turn it into the economic hellhole that the Mexico is today. They have as many natural resources down there as we have up here, why don't they just get their act together and work to make Mexico a prosperous, free nation and then people wouldn't risk their lives to flee the place?"

They've ALREADY made it another 3rd world scum-hole. Once they ruin that then they'll just keep invading and destroying even more of the US until they've ruined it all. Stop the cockroaches from invading NOW! ARM OUR BORDERS. DEPORT ALL ILLEGALS! REDUCE THE NUMBER OF LEGAL IMMIGRANTS UNTIL WE GET THE NUMBERS UNDER CONTROL! Then we can talk about LEGAL immigration.

Now, did the poll ALSO find out their opinions of the statment: "Americans should have the right to enter Mexico without Mexican permission"? Of course not.

What Americans think means nothing to the movers and shakers. We've got a New World Order to build. Borders impede their agenda.

I once saw a play in an elementary school put on by the kids there. It was called, "Bridges Without Borders".

Guess what the staff there was doing to the minds of those unsuspecting little children?

Since I am of Hispanic origin and a devout American, let me assure you people that the AMERICANS here of Hispanic origin would kill every last one of these idiots who think this land belongs to them. That is the future of Azatlan, the 'new' country that is gaining favor among the illegals.

Amen, Brother! I like your style! I will be right next to you when the battle begins. Whats your favorite caliber? I like the .308, and .300. A 25-06 ain't bad neither with a 25x scope on it.

That damn flag should be illegal. It makes me want to puke looking at that crap. I hate the Mexican flag, and all recreations of it.

You are so right, and our state and federal governments don't care one bit. Its all about votes and the New World Order.
