Because the press is baiting him on clinton and they will rip him a good one if he blames anything on clinton and they already rip him enough. That would give clinton(s) a chance to really speak out and trash the President even more.

Let the facts speak for themselves.

All of this accounting starts off back in the clinton days. He cannot give the press one bit of edge by tying it to clinton -- let the Congressional folks do that! And if we had more than an handful of honest reporters that would happen also.

If the Washington Press Corps had another eye, they'd be a Cyclops. They are truly incompetent and couldn't function without their "talking points" memos...

Lilly continued, "In July of this year, the Department of Justice, the Federal Trade Commission (FTC), and the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) worked with the European Union bureaucrats to kill Worldcom's proposed acquisition of Sprint. This activism cost investors more than $100 billion, and now these bureaucrats have set their sites on the proposed merger between Time Warner and AOL. The shift in policymaking from legislation to litigation creates uncertainty and havoc for investors, and discourages the very type of innovation that has driven our new economy."

To date, the reverberations of the Clinton/Gore administration's attack on the high-tech economy do not seem to have reached beyond the technology industry, but given how quickly the repercussions were felt throughout the technology sector, it is only a matter of time before the entire economy feels the impact of the radical intervention approach of the Clinton/Gore administration," said Lilly.
ONE TRILLION IN SHAREHOLDER VALUE DESTROYED - CLINTON/GORE ASSAULT ON HIGH-TECH INDUSTRY HAS COST AMERICAN INVESTORS MORE THAN $1 TRILLION ATR, Americans for Tax Reform, Nov. 2000.

Do we need to ask why the press didn't ask the Clinton/Gore administration about their business dealings? Or about the telecom industry pardons handed out by Clinton? Spin is one thing...intentionally working to destroy our President with lies and innuendo during wartime is another.

No, I agree. GW must not go after justice for the Clinton's or Janet.

Let's let the reporters do that.

Did you see Meet the Press yesterday? Tauzin and Levitt had it out. Congressman Tauzin said that his committee was going to investigate the SEC doings from 1993 and ex chairman Levitt during Clinton years said it was not necessary. And Tauzin said oh yes there was a need. And then Meet the Press showed a video of Harvey Pitt and he said he inherited a mess from Levitt and Levitt downplayed it by saying that he too had inherited a mess as well as Pitt's successor would meet a mess as well.
