But, of course, the facts are a concept you, no doubt depise, because then what would you do with all that excess verbage that you post all the time. Parsing, parsing, parsing.I love facts.
I am tired of parsing.
I wish I could believe what he says.
And now, I don't care what he says.

That was the best line of the press conference- except for the President's quick 'yes' when asked if Iraq was still in play.

"I can't help but wonder after all this time, why don't we don't know if he is dead or alive?" You must have been one of those kids that sat in the back seat and asked, "Are we there yet?" every five minutes.
Is your only experience with a war the Gulf War? Yes, that one was incredibly short. This one has lasted nine months. Most wars last years.
BTW, it took years to confirm that Hitler was, in fact, dead.

Is it me, or did he look a bit irritated at a few of the questions about Harkin? I was just waiting for him to say, 'Look. How many times do I have to say it before you actually believe it?'
It wasn't his best news conference. At times, he looked uneasy and impatient. But again, I think it's more so because the media have fallen for the Dems spin and lie campaign.

Press reporter asks -
Speech tomorrow, excess of 90's. Did Clinton contribute to that?
Bush response : NO.
# 102 by Registered
Maybe I'm imagining things.
Does that mean that Bush believes Clinton did a good job?
# 507 by exodus
To: exodus
it means it isn't up to The President to trash Clinton.
Clinton has trashed himself with the American People.
They have woken up and know who is to blame.
# 516 by TLBSHOW *************************
Wow.
You sure got a lot of mileage out of a simple statement of support by Bush for our former President.
"No, Clinton wasn't responsible for any wrongdoing" does not mean "the people know the truth."
I'm assuming that Bush answered "No" as Registered reported.
I didn't hear the comment myself.

"I pray for an ignore button." I was just thinking the same thing. I suppose that could be arranged.
They removed my last one....I wonder what they'll do to me the next time.

Question: What are the RATS trying to hide with bringing up Harkin. Must be something about to break! We can hope so.
Wonder what it could be?

>>>>>Q My question is, sir, that we did a survey at India Globe and Asia Today, around the United States among the Indian-American community, and also in India and the Indian government. They all support your stand against fighting against terrorism. But, sir, are you going to find Osama bin Laden before the first anniversary of September 11th?
We will not tire....We will not falter...We will not fail...

Thanks for the transcript, deport. After watching the press conference, then hearing some of it on C-SPAN radio, and now reading it, I guess you could say I am one of those Bush-Bots that make some posters on this thread crazy!
President Bush is a Master at dealing with that press corps!
" THE PRESIDENT: Well, David, there is a -- listen, there had been a period of time when everything seemed easy. Markets were roaring, capital was everywhere, and people forgot their responsibilities. And as you know -- you've had to suffer through many of my speeches -- but I have been calling for a renewed sense of responsibility in America. And that includes corporate responsibility, because I'm very worried about a country that has -- that could conceivably lose confidence in the free enterprise system. And I'm an avid backer of the free enterprise system, but I also understand that that requires trust. And we've had some destroy the trust of the American people and we need to do something about it. "
In other words: David, you have heard me express my opinion on this in every speech I have given, as I travel the country.

He was angry when he went in, calmed down a little as he started answering questions, then raised his voice in irritation after being asked the same d@mned question for the fifth or sixth time...can't blame him. Hardly anyone asked him about the war. OR military funding, which is a heckuvalot more important than beating an issue that's really been dead years.

I heard the Global Crossing investigation was going to heat up in Congress.
Maybe McAwful is going to be called to testify...yeah right, (slaps self).
Ok, I'm all right now.

I was watching Bush's face when he said "there's no there there."
It was a deliberately chosen line.
You could tell that he thought he was being funny.
Here's a funny question:
What kind of politician who uses the tactics of liberals?
# 518 by exodus
To: exodus
ask david horowitz
# 522 by TLBSHOW *************************
It was a rhetorical question, TLBSHOW.
The obvious answer is, a liberal politician uses liberal tactics.

"OR military funding"Correction : that should have been NO ONE asked about military fundinf, which is a heckuvalot more important than beating an issue that has been dead for years.
