Fresh garden vegetables....lucky you....I'll bet you have some yummy tomatoes..I love tomato sandwiches.....And homemade vegetable soup. I have vivid memories of visiting my grandma in the summer in S.C. and going to the garden with her and picking the corn, tomatoes, green beans etc and coming in the house and making a big pot of vegetable soup.

Hi! I'm still up. My tomatoes aren't ripe yet, it's unusual because they are usually ripe by the 4th. I've been putting up white half runners (green beans) and bush beans (wide green beans) there is a big crop of those this year. My squash and peppers are coming in now also. I have some cucumbers, okra and peas that haven't come in yet though.

I also meant to say what nice memories you have of your grandma in S.C. I also make soup mix with the produce from the garden and freeze it for the winter. It's so nice in the winter to be able to get a taste of the summer that way.
