President Bush is spending today, his 56th birthday, vacationing at the Bush residence in Kennebunkport, Maine. The President spent his day golfing at Cape Arundel Golf Club and also answered questions regarding the assassination of the Afghan Vice President. Enjoy your daily dose of Dubya!

Here is a short excerpt.
1.He [God] is about to focus us to pray for our President immediately. The minute you hear that [in your spirit], come into focus. You get on your knees if you’re in the grocery store and pray for our President.
I know that a lot of us aren't going to get on our knees in a grocery store, but we can still stop what we are doing and pray! What Chuck Pierce is saying is:, take those urgings of the Holy Spirit seriously, respond immediately, as our president is going to be needing "now" prayers that are prayed in earnest. We don't want this president being uncovered in the midst of extraordinary spiritual attacks on him, when God is making us knowwe are among the people He is assigning to pray for the president at a particular time.
The entire time he was taking the oath of office and giving his inaugural address, I couldn't concentrate on it because in my spirit I continually saw hundreds and thousands of "arrows" coming at him and I had to pray throughout the whole event.
All of us with eyes to see the election fiasco for what it was, a spiritual attack, even a spiritual war, I want to encourage us to remember that we are not only continuing in that spiritual war because the enemy of our souls and of freedom did not go away, but to realize we are now also in a natural, physical war. This president needs no chinks in his armor, and we, the praying church, are part of his shield-bearers. We can go before him in prayer and clear the way for his safe progress, and we need to. Amen? !!

Yes, vs. 14 is so good - so is Vs. 1 - the entire Psalm is good.
Miss Marple - your comments are so good and so important. We know the Demonrats are going to attempt to destroy President Bush in the eyes of Americans between now and November. They know no other strategy.
As you said - whenever we think about this, we must pray and we must act! We must write letters, we must call or email friends and family, we must get Republicans registered to vote!!!! (easy to do), and we must give whatever we can - strategically - to candidates who will make a difference.
Everyone can call their local Republican Party headquarters and volunteer somehow. They are so eager for help!
We are in more than just a war with terrorists. We are in a war with anti-American destroyers who are masquerading as "Americans" but whose hearts are allied with those who would see us dead....if it means they can gain power!
But, as you said, MM, PRAYER IS OUR GREAT WEAPON.
We get weary of the battle, I know. Our heart and souls yearn for a time when these enemies cease and desist in their destructive path.
But they will not - not in our lifetime - because they are energized and motivated by a godless lust for power.
So, what can we do? We can and must do every thing we can possibly think of to fight - and then, having done all, to stand, praying for our God to take care of the future....and of the President....and of this country.
At the end of the day - that is all we can do. For those who have come before us and those young ones coming along now and after us - we must do this.
And, the loud leftists make us think they are more than they are. Actually, they are quite a minority. If that were not true, they would not have to cheat to win. But they do have to cheat to win. That's the only way they can win today.
Still they are a danger because a powerful, amoral, ruthless, minority can takeover a country (as every Communist country is a witness) and bring devastation to it.
So, sadly, as long as we have breath, we will have this battle. It is the struggle between enslavement and freedom, between evil and good, between death and life. It has been going on from the beginning of man.
I wish things were different. We had this "Pax Americana" where it seemed we could rest (after WWII) and things would always be okay in this country - and good.
We were lulled into thinking that. I was.
1992 kicked me out of my slumber!
And, I suppose, there will never be a chance to go back to sleep now.
Somehow, out of all the devastation that was wrought since 1992 in this country, good things came. The 1994 "Revolution" which brought the unthinkable - Republican control of the Congress....and 2000....which brought us a Godly Republican man as our President....after 8 years of official godlessness!
There are so many problems in this country - and each of us has our own to deal with - but as those who came before us dealt with both their personal lives and the nation's challenges, so will we! We can do it! We must do it!
OR, he was trying to get algore elected on the "It's the economy, stupid!" ticket. Since he couldn't get votes by attacking the current administration, LOL, he turned the ticket over and praised the incumbency with his usual modesty.
Maybe ... but he did most of this after it was clear Bush would be President .. which leads me to think X42 knew the numbers were not good and he was trying to set Bush up so the Dems could hammer him for it
Remember .. X42 doesn't do anything unless it benefits him or his wife
And like I said before .. Hillary will run in 2004 ... you just watch .. she hasn't been all over the country collecting soft money for nothing .. she needs the money and she won't be able to collect it after the November election
But towards the end he was always out in front of the camera with his graph signs ..
The media and talk hosts just laughed saying X42 just wanted camera time and how he wasn't going to handle leaving very well
